I don't think you're correct. The point is that the game time does not change for EU correct? If it was 20:00 CET before, it should remain 20:00 CET. If It was 20:00 CET, that means it was 14:00 EST, because of the 6 hour time difference. However, now there is only a 5 hour time difference between the two timezones. This means that when it is 20:00 CET, it is 15:00 EST. What you're proposing would make the times 13:00 EST and 18:00 CET, which makes no sense because then they have to play 2 hours early and we play 1 hour early, and there still won't be a 6 hour time difference between gametimes. | ||

(I believe this isn't the case for Europe, since CET actually changes its time. CET is UTC +2 during DST and UTC +1 during other times of the year. Yet another element of confusion.) As a thought exercise as to why 1pm/1300 Eastern is NOT the correct time to go to if we wish to stay with standard time... We already concluded that Week 1 was held at 1400 EST or 1900 UTC. EDT is UTC -4, so to get UTC from EDT we just go EDT+4. Let's say we hold DRTL at 1300 Eastern, or because of DST, 1300 EDT. That means we are holding it at 1300 EDT + 4 = 1700 UTC. Now we are 2 hours earlier than Week 1. = I think the best way to implement this is to just have a set-in-stone UTC or GMT gametime, since these zones are applied throughout the year independent of stupid bullshit like DST. Then players from different time zones can be responsible for coordinating to that. If they can't do the math, they can just type "what time is it now utc" into google. | ||

If the time zone thing is really throwing you, just use GMT. EVERYBODY in this league should show up at 19:00 GMT | ||

If I do not have a line-up from you by 24 hours from this post, you will have a -2 set deduction. I'm not sure what is going on with the team but if some other member wants to step up, talk to the team, and get a line-up in that is acceptable to me. | ||
