People who have attained C- (that I'm sure of) in the past include arb's list and Nagisama, TheMarine, icedraco, L3gendary, MoreAndMore. By attained, I mean that they hit C- for one or two games and then dropped back down, or hit C- and then stopped playing. In all honesty, people need to stop being such soggy napkins. The difference between a top D+ player and a player who hit C- for 1 game is non-existent. The difference between a D+ player who is 12-3 but never laddered enough to get to C- and a player who hit C- for 1 game is also non-existent. I know there are a few players at least who fit into the former category but no one ever says "Man, I wish there were no 85% winrate D+ players in this league." It's always about this mythically overpowered borderline C- level that doesn't actually mean shit thanks to ICCup's ranking system. This shit has been explained at least once per DR thread. /rant | ||

If you go 16-3 and you're 2700 skidding on the verge of C-, you are definitely better than a 50-50 player who just hit C-. Unless of course you're the type to go 16-0 streaks and then lose 16 games in a row from there. | ||

When i was playing back when Bw was active(C High terran) I could easily get to C- with any of my offraces with a record of liek 16-3, the difference in being high D+ and being able to keep a good record like that at C- is pretty big. I stand by what I said, that unless you can win consistently vs yellow ranks, being able to get there with a good record means jack shit. | ||

A D+ player with an insane win percentage will be consistently better than a D+ player with a shitty percentage and manages to hit C- only because he plays enough games for it.
