In general who thinks that BW part sucked cuz of SKT - you are wrong. OSL Finals sucked cuz of Jangbi who cheezed in 3 out of 4 games? No it's Fantasy who didn't scout/played well enough. Same here - T8 didn't scout/play enough to prevent cheese!

Fantasy could really have made a comeback if he had focused fire properly when having 3 vults 2 rines 1 scv vs the few hydras. Then when harassing with the 3 wraiths, he would have killed the overlords, supply blocking hero enough time to secure the choke at the main.

Not really, that game was a one sided stomp, this game had some good back and forth and it at least looked like Fantasy with the right decision making and micro could have brought that back in his favor.
I really thought fantasy was going to hold when there were suddenly 3 wraiths and 3 vults. And with that small 4-hydra attack (after the main fell), fantasy lost his vultures and marines while the wraiths flew around hero's main looking for an opening. Had he kept the wraiths back with the ground troops, he would have held, and he would have been in not half-bad shape from then on. At least he would've had a chance.

JD of BW only yes but BW/SC II - no way he's the same. Sun in BW was mediocre but in BW/SC II he's the best player of his team and possible whole Kespa now.
I have a bad feeling that somehow SKT is gonna find their way into the final and win again =/
It seems that everything is coming together for them at the right time. Rain is one of the two best Kespa players at SC2, Fantasy has been in good form all season and it seems like Bisu has finally learned how to SC2.
This was a bad loss. SKT played really well, as usual, but you could ask for more from T8. We are not winners, that is the problem. Just look at Baby. What a wonderful player. Mechanics, control, multi-tasking. But he can't win. Sea is the same. It looks like they don't want to win How can he manage to lose against Bisu after playing better the whole game? (Not to take anything away from Bisu.) They are too afraid to lose.
And Jaedong is just too old. He has lost his edge a long time ago. He is a spectacular player, but he can't handle the role he's got in this team. He can't be the only player with killer instinct and guts. And if this doesn't change I don't see him continue playing very long. What should happen, it's obvious in my opinion, is that Baby takes a much more important role in the team. But he is too weak mentally.

The strong teams (those with good financial backing) just have more depth and the gap has been widening over the years between the 'small' teams (OZ, eSTRO, STX, Wemade, Woongjin...) and the rich teams (SKT, KTF/KT and, behind these two, Khan and CJ).

They have drafts...I believe its not nhl/nfl style draft but its still a draft and last year (at least) one of the better players opted to go to one of the worse teams to try to have more play time (if my memory doesnt fail, a good terran went to stx refusing skt?). There is maybe a gap between some teams but it is not as huge as you sound....6 teams could go in this year, depending on the last day. Thats a pretty tight race if you ask me.

yeah i remember 10+ sentries against terran of two base and not landing any good forcefields
BW games =/ The players are probably 95%+ into SC2 and it shows. At least Bisu isn't looking as bad at SC2 anymore.
SKT too good at playoffs, can they give others a chance or something? See this is why I sorta hoped that SKT wouldn't make it this time - as much as I support my man Fantasy, I thought that a no-KT or SKT in playoffs situation would be better for shaking up Proleague.
I don't have much hope in CJ - they're the playoffs chokers, and making it past playoffs-SKT and beating down Khan? Really doubtful to me. Maybe they can turn it around this time - Effort owning everyone would be pretty cool.
T8 was supposed to be in the final =/ Hell Stars with their crazy good win differential was supposed to be here too, but I guess shit happens, especially when all qualifying teams have the same score.
Though this will at least be better than another fucking KT vs SKT. So good that KT didn't make it and I most definitely like the way KT failed, so I guess that still works.
I'm probably a couple of weeks too late to complain about all this though.
