Last season I was a assistant captain to Djagulingu. I took care of certain things while he was away. This season, various team members stated they wanted to get back together. I did the responsible thing and re-connected everyone for the new season. Never did I expect or want to be the authoritative figure for the team, because I knew how pressed for time I was this summer. I did my best when I could, but for the past few weeks I have been sending a group e-mail stating that I cannot participate at the official time nor can I do things that I did before such as study line-ups, make line-ups, determine favorable MUs, etc. etc. at the same time requesting that my matches be postponed from the gamedate to a later time (I must note that only one of my PP match opponents has responded to me during this time). Since then, the entire team communication has come to a screeching halt, as well as the activity of members beyond a core few. I no longer know what the situation is in this league or within the team that I am a part of. It's possible that due to social pressure, people who did not have the time or willpower to invest in continued participation in this league were ushered into a situation they were unprepared to handle, much like how I was suddenly a team captain (or messenger, at least) despite never wanting anything as such.

Because communication with my team via e-mail (despite the new recruits I met, played with, PM'd, and e-mailed) has been so minimal, I will risk it and speak for the entirety of the team that we are surrendering all of of our future matches. To be fair, I think it would be prudent to allow any member of Victorious Secret to take up captainship and try to get it back on track, maybe giving them until the next match date? If that happens, then I am simply removing myself from the team and from the league. On a personal note, after being banned from DRIT, I haven't played a single game of BW in about a month - not the kind of participant that would contribute anything to DRTL, and that's not even considering the fact that I might be too good for D leagues by the standards of some.
