Can someone briefly explain to me who and based off what they chose these lineups?

coaches give kespa refs a piece of paper with the name of the player before each match is played, IE they can technically change the lineup on the fly, although from what i understand 99% of the time the coaches pick lineups ahead of time and have a player practice nonstop on just one map. generally coaches pick players based off of race and success rate in practice for each map.

No, teams gives lineup to referees before matches (set 1 to set 5 where sets 2-5 is locked before set 1 starts) start so they are locked and cant be changed on the fly.

Is that true? I always though it was before each set..

Then what's the point of putting player's name on a piece of paper?
That means OGN doesn't know about who is coming out next set.
So in that case, the coach/manager can definitely write whoever they feel like according the situation.

So that opposing team doesn't see your picks even if they don't actually get to play as referees hold those papers. OGN knows as they get info after set is completed (if next set is needed that is) from referees.

Its kinda like pre scandal system but not released to public though
