KT definitely the favorite here. Flash is autowin against everyone on Woongjin. Given Zero's struggles and protoss doing well against zerg overall this season, Stats is auto-win against everyone except Soulkey. Finish it up by sending Wooki against Light on Ground Zero and there's your 3 wins.

The way that Flash has absolutely manhandled zergs this season... Soo and JD looked like absolute noobs. If anything, i'd like to see him in a macro TvT to make up for the loss to Leta. (maybe against the guy who beat bisu :p)
Mass Tanks vs Mass Queens: Flash with his insane skill gets even bases with Zero. Flash waits too long to push and Zero has 150 energy on 50 queens. As flashes tanks siege up, zero moves his queens into the battle. + Show Spoiler +

and they all get hit by an EMP
Zero is not Hydra, he can split queens, I think.
Zero is not Hydra, he lost in the MSL finals.
Are you saying that Zero's opponent wasn't as great as Hydras?
Wooki going for the standard toss FE Hon sin looking very embarrased, or whatever that word it Zero taking his second expo at the 6.5 expo, not the nat Looks like he went pool first though, taking gas now
I did not catch what order Wooki had his buildings planted, but he has one gate, one cannon and the nexus warping in Probe is still in Zero's main Wooki taking gas now Lair morphing
On January 15 2012 12:08 X10A wrote: I did not catch what order Wooki had his buildings planted, but he has one gate, one cannon and the nexus warping in Probe is still in Zero's main Wooki taking gas now Lair morphing
I'm pretty sure its forge nex gate but nana is a bit laggy for me atm.
Spire for Zero 3 zealots completing the wall, 2nd gate and citadel warping in Stargate is up 5 hatches coming up for Zero, 5 hatch total I should say 4 zealots moving out for Wooki, picking away at the lings Zero has at his nat Sair is going to net one overlord kill, before scourge ward it away Sair takes one scourge, but it gets back to the saftey of the cannon
+1 done for the toss 4 zealots ripping apart the lings that Zero has Even more zealots are coming in Sunkens are not up yet Hydra den planted to help defend the sunken Mutas are out, to help defend Speed kicks in for the zealots!
Zealots are in Zero's main, took out 3 or 4 drones, a few at the nat too Archives is done for Wooki Zero taking a 4th at 11.5 Fleet of about 5 sairs for Wooki
We've jumped ahead slightly DT handing outside of Zero's 4th, no defense there at all, that might cost Wooki DT completely ignores the expo there 8? gates total for Wooki
Lurkers are out for Zero now Queens nest is done for Zero, I'm assuming Hive, or maybe ensnare? Anyone? Ohkay I'll stop Core is spinning I think I saw Hatch mid 6 oclock, Zero is going to spore/sunken that area up I think +2 done for Wooki, goons being encorperated to the army +1 ranged attack for zerg done
Looks like Wooki is going to sidestep the defensive position that Zero has established so far. Looks like he doesn't even know about Zero's 4th base tho...
Wooki engages into the 6 oclock DT is in the 3rd and wrecking house Zero is down to 56 supply, if my name reading is correct Wooki is at 127 The 3rd is going down Hive is up for Zero, and he's attacking Wooki's 3rd, but protoss forces are there to clean up
Uhh this isn't pretty. Wooki has managed to take out the fortified position of Zero with one hit of his clenched fist and has established a third himself. Total reversal!
Why can't I ever PvZ like this TT Back door is mined out for Zero's 3rd Robotics support is up Wooki just going to go and kill the 3rd, the temple is almost dead Zero trying to get some panic sunkens up +3 attack done for Wooki Defiler is out, so are reavers Standoff by the back door Reaver snipes the defiler!
Wooki going to expo again at 4.5, soon to be 4 base toss against 3 base zerg Playgu on the reaver, but it kills the defiler again 178-88 Wooki-Zero Another reaver is ferried up there Zero taking back his old 3rd
Zero trying to attack with lings at Wooki's 3rd, but Wooki cleaned it up easily Overlords over Wooki's main cliff Playgu on some goons Wooki moving away from the connected expos, and He's going to catch several overlords Zero had lurker ling loaded up into them Down to 84/78 supply Some lurkers dropped, got around 6 probes 165-80 supply Even more probes dying
Wooki going to attack the great all of sunken 6 goons go down for one sunken Zero tried an attack on the 12.5, but was unsuccesful Zero going to try and attack the 4th with swarm, but Wooki has storm 151-62 Wooki pushing the 4th again GG from Zero
People is just voting no cause of that, and cause their loved Zero lost. C'mon, Wooki did a good work pushing in the exact moment before Zero could take advantage of his extra base.

Shine will save us. As long as January sends him out.
Stats is pushing Shy with superior goon numbers Shy has defenders advantage, and goons pop out in time to push him back Both players have obs out, Stats has a support bay, he's also expanding Shy starting his expo a little bit behind Stats'
Shield battery is done for Stats Shy pushes in, but Stats has a reaver done! Shy leaves with 3 goons, from the 7 or 8 he had Stats has 4 goons and a reaver left Stats has been mining for a good while longer than Shy at the nat, Shy's just kicked in
Both players have shuttle reaver out Stats going to reaver harass at the nat Doesn't get the one scarab off, it duds 4 gates for Stats, forge, citadel, and archives are up Stats taking his 3rd Shy adding lots of gates
6 gates total for Shy, for both actually Shy going to take his 3rd now too Shy adding a cannon behind his nat mineral line, and morphing archons 103-97 Stats-Shy DT from Stats scouts out the 3rd It's moving towards the nat DT gets 7 probe kills
Stats sending up some zealots into the 3rd of SHy Pulls back, but loses a single zealot Supply counts are evening up, Stats still has a 5 supply lead +1 done for both players, +1 attack
Stats decides third is too hard to break, takes his 4th and decides to keep shy contained, shy trying to break out! stormuu everywhere! shy getting obliterated
Stats has 2 forges spinning, Shy only has one Stats taking a 4th, at 5 nat Both players being indiscisive Reaver and storms being really effective in the HUGE battle Shy gets pushed back though 150-108 supply Stats-Shy 111-77 Stats marching into the nat now
Stats has goons in the 3rd of Shy, taking over DT is hold position on the ramp Kills transfering probes Shy gg's out Oh Shy, I don't like seeing you after your lose
Speaking of carriers, I'd really like to see some old school sair reaver into carrier PvZ, too bad there hasn't been a great sair reaver map in forever. Maybe if the outlier "islands" were more islandy, stacked temples maybe.
i'm slowly getting use to the new stats even his skin looks way better! and he playing seems to have improved a ton, much more solid we all knew he had this talent inside
The difference between KT and Khan/SKT is that KT only plays Flash when they need to. Khan/SKT almost always play Stork/Bisu first and don't give lesser players a chance to improve.
Oh man, I thought I missed something good Light vs CH I want CH to lose, don't like him at all Come on Light <3 Light teal terran 12 oclock CH white zerg at 7 oclock

Ah, that feeling that you got owned by a 9pool ling runby. Poor Light.
Reminds me of my own BW exploits. Scumbag computer Zerg. Always loses to me in a macro game when I'm playing alone. 9pools and beats me when I'm trying to show off to a female friend.
Light tried 3 times to switch the SCV building the rax so he can send a 2nd scout. Everytime the SCV ended up on the inside of the wall after the switch. That was just bad luck. Also, him lifting the rax didn't let the lings in. That wall is not ling-tight.

Well, that is weird. Even tho the marine has enough space to spawn to the left of the ramp in that building configuration, it doesn't for some reason. I think it has to do with the way the ramp was constructed out of piece of terrain... not sure tho, I'm not a mapmaker.

It's not hard to win when you have two players who are 14-1 in the league.

Stats and Bogus are getting results because they're monstrously talented players who have a great understanding of the game. I don't know how that confuses you. That's like asking "Why is Flash winning?" to a lesser extent.

Your rephrase has even less clarity than your original question.
But assuming what you're asking is, "What are these teams doing right?" and you're purposely ignoring that KT has God, then take your pick from any of the following:
1) They're getting the right matchups (and aren't fucking it up like CJ). Last, the TvT sniper, played 4 TvTs in a row. Hmm, I wonder. Saving your ZvZ specialist for the last set against SKT after burning through FBB? Not a coincidence. 2) They're playing the maps better. Truthfully, I'm pretty confident Light would stomp Crazy Hydra into the ground easily if the game wasn't on Outlier. The guy clearly hasn't played on it much (wouldn't expect any Terran to, honestly) if he doesn't know how to properly wall on it. But the 0-2 situation meant he had little choice but to come out, or risk facing Flash later (and you already saw how that turned out, lol fail cheese). Meanwhile, Hoejja is mining out the back minerals to run hydras into your main, because you would never expect him to do shit like that after Destination, right? ^^ 3) They don't actually suck as much as you think they do. Stats is a fantastic player, like it or not, and is impressive in all matchups. Bogus is also a great player. He just ran into a rough patch at the beginning, but is picking up his momentum again. 4) Your team relies heavily on Zergs. Zergs are just bad this season. Poor Zero

I agree with all points here and want to add something though it's a little off topic: so far protoss is the race that is getting most of the wins. Your protosses are underperforming and it's hard for me to name a player from Woongjin that is consistent, maybe SK is the closest one. On paper you have names but I'm not seeing anyhting right now that gives you a shot for the title. The players are not showing anything promising so far and there is nobody you can relay for ace matches and have more than 50% chance against other aces. Also your team is the most fragile when talking about weak sides in certain match ups. I hope you'll improve though I really would like to see a team with strong zerg line up once again.
Stats' very happy about his 6 consecutive wins and really satisfied about his game against shy. He read Shy's opening perfectly and was able to dictate the game's flow because of it, and the game went as if according to his script. He had originally prepared for Light but he didn't appear. Stats' also really ecstatic at being the leader in having the most number of wins and he feels as though he's becoming more ambitious because of his good performances. He credits flash for helping him out. He also thinks that being the protoss with the most wins is a realistic goal and he just needs to work hard and win the rest of the matches. He mentions that it is strange that he has been doing well in televised PvZs because he loses more frequently in practice. Regarding the upcoming match against STX, Stats acknowledges that the STX Terrans have been on really good form and that he'd wish to avoid them but if he does get matched up against them, he would play his best. He's very thankful towards his parents who've been supporting him all along, as well as the fans who went to cheer for him live. He hopes more people would participate in Stats' cafe (his fancafe I presume).
That's about the gist of the interview, only typed out the key points so the flow is probably not smooth. The best I can do without translating it.
Stats kinda resembles Flash in the photo. I smell a conspiracy...
Stats just needs to prove himself in individual leagues. He's got the talent, but he just keeps coming up short in the MSL/OSL. And it's gonna be doubly hard for him to win anything now that the MSL's gone .
Stats' very happy about his 6 consecutive wins and really satisfied about his game against shy. He read Shy's opening perfectly and was able to dictate the game's flow because of it, and the game went as if according to his script. He had originally prepared for Light but he didn't appear. Maybe it's just the angle of the photo shot that make him look like flash but that is Stats -_-. Thanks for the translation ^_^.
