Game 1 : beautiful hold by fanta, very tense game, the cheese wasn't bad, but roO lacked the confidence to do something else than the prepared complete all-in. But really Fanta can be incredibly clutch sometimes. Game 2 : Perfect play by Bisu, he was one step ahead the whole time. He has learn't a lot since that game vs YellOw (even though YellOw's game plan was far superior I think). There I thought KT is plaing it too smart. Game 3 : A bit of scrappy ZvZ, but that match up is so tense, it's perfect for a final. Hoejja is a hero. Game 4 : WTF action, but very good overall execution from Sun (except for a few lost sairs... not Bisu yet I thinb^^) Game 5 : Flash is incredible at those early push, and Best is not the... best at defending them. Loved that game, those scans were perfect, and Flash' execution immaculate. Game 6 : Very one sided, those sairs did too much and after that Stats kept playing well. Very entertaining overall. Game 7 : I would have chosen Fantasy, maybe Bisu, but Best was not a bad choice. But man, you've got to hand it to Flash. Excellent scouting. Very good mind games, he made Best weary of heavy vulture harass and took his fourth behind expertly placed scouting mines. After that he was in a good position, but Best could have won if Flash had not done such a perfect push. Always at the perfect distance from Best army, vutlures in front, clutch emps... You know envelopping that army like a good PvP player can do, like Best should have been doing. A few multitask erros as usual (mines not cleared, slow reactions to zealots), but he brung so much to the table. Nothing less than I expected from him, and that means a lot. Flash is the best starcraft player ever, no questions.

Personally, I wasn't expecting Best at all. I thought it was 75% Bisu, 20% Fantasy, and 5% somebody else with a crazy abusive build that he had prepared for months just waiting for the chance to use it. BeSt didn't have a crazy abusive build. They honestly expected him to win just by playing like his usual non-adaptive self with fast expos and 50 gateways. They practiced over more than three weeks knowing what player they were up against, knowing what map it would be on, and that's the best thing they came up with? I just don't respect Coach Park very much anymore. I'm thrilled we won and everything, but wtf kind of decision was that? They would've been much better served sending Bisu.

As a SKT fan, I had full confidence almost everyone in the team will perform the best, especially the SKT zerg but the most disappointing results were definitely the failure to have our SKT zerg perform when it really matters. I mean I can understand Flash owning and I can understand that SKT got a good chance but really now, out of all zergs we send out, how is it that none of them won? The finals was exciting and good to watch up until set 3 when everything just went wrong. Fantasy and Bisu performed amazingly today and I was exciting about a 4-0 or 4-1 or even 4-2, as I did not expect 3-4 at all. Hell, I even thought Best sending out against Flash was the best choice they had (for both set 5 and ace). The reason for our loss isn't BeSt losing to Flash, he pulled up a really good effort and fight. It was unfortunate that his first match against Flash, he wasn't able to do his usual macro strategy as Flash shut him down before that happened, and in the ace match, Flash was one step ahead. But for the SKT zergs, they had their ideal matchups that could have led to victory: s2, the zvz specialist, and soo whose strongest MU is ZvP. Sure, I understand Hoejja and Stats are good players and they played well, especially with the strategy they used who completely countered both of them, but I just didn't see any real spark from s2 and soo today. What a disappointing finals for me, I'm sadden by our loss and that now we have to suffer another year from non SKT fans all over criticizing and telling us SKT fan shit and that but I guess I'll just have to endure another year. 2012 SKT Hwaiting! Edit: I was looking over the comments around and I read that most of the SKT fans who were there at the finals left when it was Best vs Flash. Utterly disgusting, my other reason why SKT lost, there wasn't any confidence and high morale from the fans on stage.

That's one of my favorite things about the match. :D For weeks, we had to hear about how Stats is overrated and the SKT zergs would mop up with him. He's more than just a solid player; he can be an excellent player. He might be inconsistent sometimes, but he showed great form against Woongjin and CJ such that I had a lot of confidence in him.

Lol you caught me. When I first wrote my post, I wrote "the 3 zergs we send out" and then after I made the post, I realize it was only 2 after recalling each set lol. I just didn't want to completely edit out that paragraph and delete all the lines or rewrite them, too much work for me. So I improvised! :D And it's still believe what I wrote too. At least one of the two zergs could have scored a win.

Hoejja was extremely clutch, and Stats shows that he can take out those SKT zergs, but thats only because it wasn't Hyuk
