This is because if Flash went for a 4 Factory push, Best's unideal third base location would be susceptible to a push in a 4 Factory vs 4 Gateway game. Best would, however, hold off the push if he got his third at the protected mineral only location. By the time Best's Arbiters finally came out Flash already had a Science Vessel with EMP and another coming out. This left a Terran vs a Protoss with an equal army size and Best had only 4 HTs to make up for how behind he was. Best was not in an ideal situation, nor was he in the situation he wanted to be in. | ||

Wow, thats a very high level and interesting analysis, wish I understood more broodwar. I do think the main reason he lost was not putting any pressure on Flash's 4th at all and not staying on 3 base for too long. | ||
