He has below average win rate in proleague, hasn't gotten anywhere of either ind league for a while, and while he has beaten flash a couple times in the past months, he's lost to far far worse players and has shown he's wildly inconsistent, kinda like Tempest. Grats to KT, Fantasy not hitting Stats is balanced out by Sun beating Action and I think overall the match ups were in SKT's favor but KT decided to fuck that and win anyways, definitely well played. | ||

It was not considered an "official" league because KeSPA didn't take it into consideration and they had to give the biggest prize pool, if we can trust Tasteless, in a single league. But since it was not a KeSPA thing, even if you won it, you didn't get any KeSPA points, so players focused on things that mattered, and personal sponsors were not amused by rookies beating pros, who went there to see if they can win without practising. Unlike the OSL/MSL where you get personal sponsorship. The thing that is keeping STX league is that it is a team league and big companies that sponsor the teams benefit more from it. TL;DR: It is a big advertisement for the sponsoring companies and they don't care for the prize pool as much as the advertisement they will get. Kingdom said it before in an interview, BeSt is good at preparing builds, but his improvisation (particular against timing attacks) seems to be kinda lacking. Flash played smart and was passive/greedy when he needed to be, gotta give credit where's it's due. But I agree with you, I have no freaking idea where Bisu was. Fantasy maybe, but Bisu? | ||

Best beats Flash to what was before today a winning record. | ||

Flash just has this...ability to be so much better when it really matters. It's like the most recent MSL, everyone was calling for a close finals and Flash just elevates his game. He did it here and I doubt anyone was stopping him this time. I admit, it would be kind of poetic finish to end the season. | ||
