Anyway, Hydra is a scary opponent indeed. There is one thing I haven't seen taken into consideration yet. Flash often mentioned Effort and Zero (or Stars in general) as his TvZ practice partners. I think is not a stretch to suppose he won't be getting any practice from them this time...
I'm really curious how will Flash approch this match. I wouldn't be suprised if he comes out with some really abusive builds, like against Kwanro. 14cc everygame? He did that against JD in HANA Daetoo MSL finals and won 3:0. stop talking about those 14cc's.... you all know that it wasn't a 14cc that won Flash the games. It was his gameplay after those 14cc's. When it was 14cc vs 3hatch before pool, he also won, even though this is no bo advantage.
yeah it was his gameplay after getting a huge advantage with 14cc... meaning 14cc (+ timing pushes, which were admittedly sick) did win it for him pretty much
... and also 14cc > 3h before p

+ Show Spoiler +I would have loved to see a Flash-Jaedong final. Regardless, I hope to see Flash in the finals!

With this, flash spent nothing on early turrets.
14CC>3 h before p no question.

With this, flash spent nothing on early turrets. 14CC>3 h before p no question. People have been parroting this "no pool 3hatch gets tech slower" bullshit for so long, and I have no idea where they get it from. If you spend 10 minutes and check out the lair timings for 12hatch 14hatch 13pool 12gas and compare it to 12hatch 11pool 13hatch 12gas then you'll notice that they are different by like 1-3 seconds. They are practically identical in lair timing, and standard 3hatch actually gets the lair later if you use the most safe variation (12hatch 11pool 13hatch 15gas).
The reason that 14cc > no pool 3hatch isn't because the Zerg's lair timing is later, it's because no pool 3hatch doesn't get the Zerg additional gas income heading into the midgame. The Zerg gets more mineral, which allows them to take their third faster, but the extra minerals doesn't mean a lot for the Zerg heading into midgame in terms of units. The Zerg is able to put down a macro hatch earlier, but this, like the earlier third, doesn't give the Zerg any advantage heading into the midgame. The Terran, on the other hand, is able to make full use of his extra minerals into putting down his barracks faster and pump out more marines since all of this only requires minerals. Due to this, the Terran gets his unit production rolling quicker heading into the midgame.
The reason why 14cc > no pool 3hatch is because the Terran is able to put down his barracks faster and churn out marines quicker while the Zerg does not gain any advantage in terms of tech timing or unit production heading into the midgame. For the effects of no pool 3hatch to show fully, the game has to go on a bit further into the late midgame when the gas income from the earlier third kicks in and the macro hatchery provides larva.
This reminds me of how someone thought Jaedong got his mutas out quicker in the recent game vs Flash where Flash went fast vessels.... because Jaedong didn't make any sunks. Completely nonsensical.

That starleague last year with the all Zerg Ro4 was ridiculous...in a bad way... -_-

3-0 Flash ownage incoming... (he must! Its the only way to save this MSL!)

Hydra win for 3 times MSL in a row since he will win the next one aswell!

How can people seriously doubt of Hydra winning...
I mean, it's Flash. When was the last time he lost a BoX? Centuries ago.

Gogo Hydra, too bad he did not get a zvz semifinal.

Nah, he will be rusty, though I think he has more potential than Hydra.

He's already practicing in the practice house and according to a relatively recent interview with Movie a few weeks ago, he is already at his pre-retirement level.
