I appreciate people streaming but I have never been more tilted by streams than that. GTR's lagged constantly and buffered over and over for me. Meanwhile nitdkim had no sound in set3 and was constantly opening menus which blocked the main attacks of the game and were super distracting.

Feels like I didn't even get to watch the series, got like 1.2 games in terms of what I actually saw without being stressed over stream issues which constantly took me out of the game. What a depressing situation after getting up early to watch this. Makes me wish I'd just slept in and avoided spoilers until the VODs came out. Now I got the world of both worlds cos I can't watch them not knowing what happened and yet I didn't get the thrill of seeing the big plays live.

It's amazing how well OGN timed the start of today's MyStarleague finals...

Hydra really is a lot like Effort, excellent early game, falls apart against Flash's late game.

Watch Effort vs. Flash on Judgment Day.

He had a huge lead going into the late game that match. It's also basically the only late game match he won vs Flash I think.

I'm pretty sure he won another late game match after that OSL....on Fighting Spirit, THE late game macro map.

That was when Effort tricked Flash into thinking he went 2base lurker ... and the Judgment Day match was when Flash built Valkyries against a non-existent mutalisk threat

So we're discrediting mind games as a viable indication of a worthy late game match?

More like discrediting games where one player goes into the late game with an almost insurmountable disadvantage.

OK, Flash taking some revenge for the group of death. He outclassed Hydra so badly - and to think I was actually thinking Hydra had a chance. Flash once again proves that FvZ is the most imba matchup in BW.

Just saying, but I think FvT / FvP / BvZ are probably more imba.

Thanks streamers! I'm skipping MySL to study for term tests

Well yes, that's a desirable way to go into late game.

Of course it is, but that lead came from his outstanding early game. What I was saying was that he has good early game but that he has much inferior late game.

Thanks for the thread and streams guys.

Sadly a bit too one-sided for my liking, but you have to respect Flash's skill.

Well this happens sometimes.

I managed it by watching both GTR's stream and the Chinese PLU stream. So when one lagged I would just switch over to another, I missed nothing!

Hmm, it's alright Hydra, we all know that your ZvT is your weakest matchup anyway. At least you got a seed for the next MSL, so you can use this loss as a learning experience and move on! Looks like you're not ready to be the next Effort yet... But oh well, taking down 2 out 4 TBLS is still great and beyond most people's expectations.

Thanks to all the streamers as usual and to Amnesia for making the thread!

Does Zero stand a chance at winning Flash?

Zero has the best statistical record vs flash of active players iirc, like 3-4 in flashes favor.

I dont think so. Stork used to have leading head-to-head vs all of TBLS till a short while ago.. Dont remember clearly the recent matches, but it shouldnt be worse than 3-4 yet

What about Best? I remember they would always match Best up against Flash in proleague and it seemed that he usually won.

http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/details.php?section=korean&type=players&id=424&part=games&league=standard&vs=P#tblt-5935-1-default-0-best

Not quite

So someone has a record better than 5-5 vs. Flash? And if you take the games from 2010 and beyond Best is 4-2 vs. Flash.

you mean 2-4?

Stork has the best record against Flash with 10-8 I think, although his games recently aren't too good.

14CC vs. 12hatch in all those JD vs. Flash games doesn't count now either then?

I'm hoping Flash sets Hydra up with a nice and juicy group next MSL.
