Flash went for a risky quick Science vessel build He stimmed his marines(which were ~10-12) 6 times. 6 times. they might aswell have been hitten by plague. The irradiate was indeed unfortunate but it is not the reason that Flash lost, it was his stimming and the risky build he did. Flash his build was a risk, he took it and he lost. That is all. | ||

I don't know... the games between JD and Flash are usually very exciting. Flash seems to win significantly more than he loses, though, because JD in many of their face-offs has neglected to build defense at critical moments. The large (and usually unscoutable given map positions) build order advantages of 1rax fe > early pool > 14cc > 12hatch/3 hbp > 1 rax fe has also seemed to place JD at a disadvantage slightly more often than Flash, with notorious macro games where JD tries to claw his way into an advantage with the drone count of 3 hbp against an uncontested 14cc. This does have a lot to do with Flash's aura, since JD doesn't want to do any real pre-muta early aggression unless it's something totally all-in like a 4-pool. I think that he knows Flash's defense of a 14cc, given nonfail building placement/repair in his game 5 vs. effort all the way back, is pretty strong for anything 9 pool and later, so 14cc from Flash against JD has almost always been his game to lose. If JD can find a way to properly mix his early game strategies against Flash and shore up minor weaknesses in his defensive timings, he's got as good a chance as anybody against Flash in a BoX. | ||
