Anytime really should get more playtime. His play was really solid today. Oz could definitely use some of that. Oz rookies have a lot of potential so it's good to see Dear getting that important first win. He should be feeling much more comfortable in future matches. Finally, Killer continuing to prove that he's one of the best ZvZ players at the moment.
I believe OZ is the only team that hasn't been 0-4'd ever.

dunno about the greatest rivalry (but though JD and Flash, unlike Boxer and Yellow, have the same title count, I think it's true), but I'm so happy that JD is still capable of convincingly winning vs Flash, for some time I began to think that this rivalry is over, but it's not ^_^ Go Jaedong! ^_^

yay oz so sexyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Since the OP has been temp-banned..., can a mod please fix Killer's TLPD and the game 3 poll?

These two last wins for JD kinda gave some new fuel to the rivalry. 21-21 is indeed pretty kewl. But I still feel Flash would have the upper hand if they were to face off in a Bo5, though right now it would probably be close. Really close.

Impressive stuff from Oz. Time for KT to drop down to the bottom of the rankings. Welcome to PL again

wonder if beating flash is enough to pass the 2300 mark of the elo its 8 point difference but winning vs flash is worth a lot of points its like a pandora box from hmm3 u know u'r gonna get something good

There was a reason the WCG games were all so much closer compared to the starleague finals. So I'm not entirely surprised that Jaedong is making a comeback in this rivalry. I never doubted his ability to beat Flash. My only worry was that after all those losses, JD might have lost all his motivation and just spiraled downwards into mediocrity, but JD is clearly too strong mentally for that to happen.

Why did Flash go for this uber retarded build? Seriously fast vessel is so damn bad.

Well, it obviously works vs KT Zergs (watch Skyhigh vs Perfective).

What should Flash have done instead? 4rax might be less risky but that's what every terran has been doing lately against JD and he's still owning them. Flash went for a risky build and Jaedong just fully exploited the timing window before Flash has irradiate with some amazing muta control to completely decimate Flash's MnM army.
Come on guys, stop making it sound like Flash is a moron who had no idea what he was doing. Give credit where it's due. Jaedong just played really well (reminded me of the old days when he would own Terrans with just mutas) and Flash was a little unlucky with that irradiate (although I don't think it would have made much of a difference).

touching victory , oz has shown allot of courage , putting their ace vs kt ace in game 2 , usualy the teams are giving lambs to the other teams ace player

Holy shit Anytime > Reach?!!!!!

When I saw that the OP was temp banned, and I looked at the line-ups, I was already searching for another thread because I thought this was fake. Amazing line-ups, feels so unreal. But I'm not complaining lol.

Jaedong is just sooo good!

So there's nothing Flash could have done, is that what you're saying? "that's what every terran has been doing lately against JD and he's still owning them" is about the weakest argument one can think of. Flash isn't "every terran" and even the most die hard Jaedong fans knows that he is more than capable of taking down JD with an even start. Btw. 4rax is not the only opening you can play in TvZ, just saying.
Flash obviously isn't a moron for choosing to go for a fast SV build, but people are correct when they say Flash would have had a much better chance of taking that game if he had opted for something more "standard".
Anyway, the fast SV opening can work(vs. mutas) if you get off a good irradiate. If that wasn't the case, no one would play it with 2hatch muta and 3hatch muta being so common in ZvT. That being said, of course it would have made a big difference if that irradiate would have landed on a full hp mutalisk - again, why would you even choose such a build otherwise? Furthermore it's not like Flash got a mid HP muta or something, the mutalisk he targeted literally died in a split second.
Jaedong obviously played a solid game, made no mistakes(as far as the game went) and he deserves this win. However, he did nothing special or outstanding. That's all people are saying I think. You want people(primarily Flash fans) to stop acting like Flash was a moron that lost this game all by himself. Fine, then you should stop acting like Jaedong totally outplayed Flash left and right while there's nothing he could have done.
Try to see the game for what is was.
- Non-standard build by Flash.(don't want to judge its riskiness) - Solid standard play by Jaedong - Unlucky and anti-climactic finish for what could have been an interesting game.

so i guess this means jaedong breaks the elusive 2300 zvt elo barrier
