Yes, Elky and Naz may not be in shape. Yes, Group K may be more about "accomplishments" than skill right now. Yes, Group P has some awesome players who have been owning it up recently in Europe. But, at the WCG (as with any truly big time lan tournaments), experience, experience, experience really does count for a lot. Froz was the one who was supposed to be in the best shape in the Group. Elky still beat his ass. Put Group K head-to-head vs Group P at the WCG and K > P. | ||

He went for a strat with which you can't really win a TvT on Korhal (5rax mmf) but really tried to do his best with this strat. But there were some obvious signs, he was faking it: He hardly built SCVs. He (I don't suppose Progamers forget to build depots) accidentally forgot to build depots. | ||

Froz vs Elky looked VERY close. Froz was maurading around with BC /tank vs ELky's mass gol/few tanks/few wraiths. It came down to elky having 2 tanks and 2 gols vs Frozs last 2 BCs. Elky had gotten down a few suprise lockdowns to create that situation. Neither player really had an econ by then end and those two gols ended up being enough for the GG. I'm sure this replay should be pretty entertaining. | ||
