I thought Fantasy was in a great position after that: Calm had already lost some drones and he was building hydras instead of droning up. And fanta could easily take two expos with only a few tanks on that map. Besides it was 2 gas vs 2 gas.. But you understand this game better than me  | ||

He didn't have any turrets at the time. He saw the 3 lurker eggs morphing, and decided to lift the rax and let them in (0 detection in his entire base). The turret didnt finish till after they already chased the scvs off the mineral line. | ||

The reason fantasy vs stork doesn't dissapoint is that fantasy doesn't play Flash's style. According to IdrA, stork basically plays abusively (or in a nicer way, his style is about exploiting). Flash's counter is to play so well that he wins. fantasy can play harass games. He's basically scrappy aggressive whereas Midas would be scrappy macro TvP. | ||

Looked to me like a typical case of a progamer having a decent early game strategy but no plan for the follow-up. I think he really expected to win with that initial hydra push, or at least pull far enough ahead that would win later with overwhelming numbers. Fantasy defended well though, saved a couple of tanks at the back and Calm just looked a little lost after that. | ||

I don't think it's that certain cuz top Terrans with mech can sit on 1-2 bases and win games against ~5 base oponents. I remember Flash vs Bisu when Bisu had +3 or smth bases a year and a half ago and attacked like crazy but Flash was defending with his mech for like ~35-40 minutes and each time Bisu ALMOST broke his natural but one push on ~40+ minutes from Flash ended the game. So Flash, Fantasy and yes Canata are maybe boring in their defense but effective and it's all about wining the game. | ||

Are you honestly using a TvP to analyze a TvZ? 1-2 base against 5 base opponent? | ||
