And yes, these players are attempting to win, not to arbitrarily create 30plus minute games. It's as true as Flash as it is Jaedong.

I'm guessing he is/was banking on having superior preparation on Eye of the Storm and Dreamliner in order to win here, and if one or both of the 4 pools worked then all the better (with the amount of 14cc's Flash has been doing this seemed a reasonable risk). Seems like a reasonable strategy as it basically shuts down half of Flash's preparation. seems resonable

Every single game (that's not a cheese) is Flash aggressively trying to break JD's fast hive (bio) or a timing attack (mech). JD is the one turtling or defending, every single time. Yeah Flash really doesn't turtle at least in those games(unless he goes for the lategame mech build, which he almost never does anymore). That's more of a TvP thing for Flash, his TvZ is extremely aggressive.

Then again, it's Flash. Either he'd be too smart for it, or too stubborn.

THIS IS PURE GENIUS MAN!!! JD CANT GO MID ON POLARIS AS ANY OF THE MIDGAME TRANSITION WILL KILL ZERG IN THIS MAP. FLASH CALLED IT RIGHT AS WELL, EXPECTING SOMETHING CRAZY KNOWING THAT JD KNOWS ALL TOO WELL THE PAIN THIS MAP BRINGS TO HIMSELF, THATS WHY HE WENT PROXY. BUT NOT AS CRAZY AS 4POOL! AND 4POOL AGAIN! THIS WAS THE LAST THING FLASH WOULD EXPECT. MIND FUCKING GAME AT ITS PUREST! PURE. RAGE. PURE. GENIUS. 4TH OSL! LAST BONJWA! User was temp banned for this post.

I think his BoX decision making probably has good reasons behind it if you don't judge it by the result. sorta irrelevant what he HAS done. Also flash has been to 9 (same as JD) if you count GOM
