I was hoping JD would win tho  . Im glad he was able to get a grip after being down 0-2 and take it to the 5th set, sadly it wasnt enough this time. It was looking bad after the 2nd set but this JvF final turned out to be better than the previous two, but apart from set 3 the games were a bit "meh" IMO. Ohh well, hoping for Stork vs JD in the OSL finals!!!  p:p | ||

On the up-side, at least Flash fans can't enjoy Flash's games as much as JD fans enjoy JD's, since Zerg is an inherently more interesting race that requires flanking and beautiful orchestration to succeed. | ||

LOOK AT THE STATS. He obviously had to be much, much better than Flash to win, given the map pool. And while he is better than Flash, IMHO, the margin is razor thin and definitely is not more than the map pool. Congrats to Flash, no one is doubting he is great, I just wanted to see this final with a better map pool. JD isn't out of it. | ||

Jaedong took such a high risk Game5 that was specifically tailored to beat bio --> mech. Flash is Flash though, and once that fourth went down the first time, the balance tipped in favor of Flash. | ||

While the maps themselves influenced the builds they used, I don't think map imba wasn't really honestly an issue here especially in Game 4. Ver once again proves himself right by saying that Jaedong's decision making is solid but generally not exceptional...I generally felt in many of the games Jaedong lost many opportunities that *may* have been enough for him to win the game but didn't either because of greed, overconfidence, or simply because idea didn't pop into his mind at the time. A side note: I think your sig needs some updating... | ||
