Thanks. So the seeds are each in their own group and basically get to choose their groups. Is that basically how it is? Also, SKT has 4 players in, epic.

not exactly its basically like all 24 players pick a group, after that seed #8 makes 2 changes (I think 2 changes are allowed). After that #7 makes his switches but he still can undo what #8 made. So it goes on till #1. The idea is basically to avoid having a group with teammates , or just pick your opponents on personal matter.

Really hoping that Bisu can make a big resurgence here, I was never a huge fan of him but it was a long time ago that we had a protoss close to the level of Jaedong and Flash (You could argue that Stork was for a bit, but it was so short lived). Would love for a Bisu playing to his potential to meet Jaedong in a Bo5 (with Jaedong eventually winning though, of course).
I'm hoping flash gets bisu in his group and bisu pulls out a new bisu-build equiv and completely stomps his ass. I'm hoping for Jaedong to go all the way with this one though...

by.hero's there. by.han also goes by the name Tyson.

I'm hoping bisu wins this one and becomes the first person to get 4 MSLs, while JD wins the OSL also becoming the first and only person to win 4 OSLs.

The other way around would also satisfy me. Bisu gets his first OSL and Jaedong the Golden Badge/Tie with Nada.

Nada would still be more accomplished than Jaedong even if Jaedong wins this MSL.
Nada had a longer history of consistency, far more medals (non-starleague ones), greater period of domination (sitting at #1 Kespa).

I still want Bisu to come back and be the Last Bonjwa. . *sigh* My futile hopes....
I'm a bit confused, is this a group tournament or a individual tournament. Since there are seeds I thought it would be individual, but you also pick teams? Someone clarify for me? If you want to.
Yes he was. He didnt make it out of the all protoss group though. Had he failed in Survivor last season (which he didnt; he beat Baby and Modesty) then he wouldnt have been in the MSL.

Sorry, you are right. I confused him with someone...I think *scratches his head*
Seriously, MSL and OSL both are so ridiculously balanced by race this time it's not even funny. Also, almost everyone that you would like to see advance is in one or the other, or both.
Hoping for Taek-Bang dual victory!
It will be interesting to see what crazy antics will be pulled by Hiya and the other jokers as well. No Kwanro to beg Flash for forgiveness this time though.

I think hes made every single one since ever 2007. Thats tons of round of 16s in a row. Its hard to believe almost he hasn't failed to qualify once in or has been seeded in for over 3 years.

No, he chose Jangbi. Shuttle just chose Bisu.
Edit: Shuttle says he picked him cause they were in the same group together last time as well, and that he hopes to advance again. Originally he wanted to pick Jangbi himself.

Still to pick 8- Midas - switches Bisu vs. Action. LOL. Effort's reaction. Before, when Jaedong picked him, he said he'd make him regret his choice. Now they asked him what he thinks of his new situation. "You know, it doesn't really matter who it is. I'm going to make Flash regret it as well."
Sea has been going on for a while about the fact that he'd like to play Flash, but he just can't cause he's meeting someone on that date... Now he said that again.
Flash having a go at Effort, Flash: you have one title your confidence is way too high for someone who has 1 title how dare you challenge someone who has 3 LOL
Flash explains: "I'm focusing more on Proleague these days than the individual leagues. So I thought I should make my group a little easier." (He picked s2, I think, so he exchanged Bisu for another SKT player. Not quite sure where Bisu is now.)

Sea: "Sorry for being so selfish..." (He's trying to find someone who's willing to take on Flash.) He suggests... Hero, I think. Flash: "No, Hero is doing too well..."
I'm amazed that they're so easy-going about this... Flash can do whatever he feels like, but he's trying to find something so that everyone is satisfied.
Yep, it's classic. Lol, commentator asks him: "You don't also a date too next week, right"? (referring to the silly excuse Sea was hanging on to, that he has to take his mother out to dinner or something...)

Me too, it would've been hard for Bisu which is not what I want but in a Bo3 or Bo5 I believe Bisu can take any of those 3 players

Which players currently in group A are you trying to say aren't good, exactly? s2 doesn't have a great record but he has improved a lot. Classic has a great record so far but he has only had 13 televised matches. I'm pretty sure this is the first major tournament for both of them.
If anything the current groups are good because they give players like Sea, who have been around a long time but haven't had much success, a better chance of advancing. The problem is that we don't know how many more Starcraft tournaments there are going to be so it's not like we can confidently say "s2 and Classic will have their chance in 2012".

Although Bisu has shown better results over the last 2 weeks, do you really believe he could win a bo3 or a bo5 between anyone of those players. O.O;;
Bisu`s PvZ hasn`t really been tested at all yet. He has some good competition in that group. For some reason I don`t think he`s going to make it out of the group stages. :<
Bisu in the group with only Zerg should make it easier for him to qualify but we all remember that the last time he was in a group with all zergs (Zero, Savior and Magma) he got eliminated.
I hope Flash will show Effort who's better this time.
Jaedong should pull it out quite easily.
And don't underestimate Classic. The guy is actually pretty decent and has a good record.

your racist againt protosses? Bisu has won 3 MSL golds and still is one of the best protosses. currently 5game winstreak
Lol, the five win streak against skyhigh, roro, and mind? none of which have been performing at anything in any recent memory. And this "streak" is preceeded by a 6 game losing streak. Bisu has been sucking ass for the last couple months, theres no way bisu can stand in the same picture as the other three. Hell, I don't even think effort should be in there.

Sigh the last two times Bisu was in an all-zerg group he failed , and both were when he was in dominant form

Bisu's all zerg group is gonna be funny as hell. Jaedong has a free ride as long as he doesn't flop most balanced group is group G i think, bu there isn't really a group of death per-say.
Effort vs flash in group A will be interesting, but the other 2 are fodder enough it would be strange if they both didn't advance.
This is going to be so fun to write about. I don't really care for Bisu, but I'd like to see him back in form... Time for him to Revolutionize PvZ again?

Actually I think Bisu would have had a better chance in Flash's group than in a all zerg one. :p
Bisu never makes it out of the "easy" groups, yet hard ones dont seem such a big problem to him...
Bisu's game against Hyvaa later tonight will be a sign of things to come for his MSL group. Even though Hvyaa isn't "good," Bisu needs any wins he can get at this point in time.

All guys in Bisu's group are not especially good in zvp. Calm is decent but he is out of shape
Group C is a group of death. But that's only because Bisu is in it. It really looks pretty easy. I wouldn't expect clam nor hydra(an epic ZvZ, he'll probably win his) to beat Bisu. Even after being out of it for so long and saying that his skills are fading, he still manages to play an epic game. Also, he only has 1 MU to prepare for.

This is how its been since the beginning of time, but somehow he always manages to lose -_-

Yea people say this all the time and you know what happens?
Bisu loses like all three games, and badly at that. His skills are slowly coming back but I wouldn't just expect Bisu to win, he doesn't deserve that benefit of the doubt anymore.
BISU and the three zergs, I hope he has some deadly practice (only 1 m/u) and comes with some sick builds. Looking forward to see these games play out I really like the groups.
I think group F is the toughest with three in-form players- Light, Kal and Snow. Having said that Light's TvP is so bad I think Kal and Snow should get through pretty easily.

As long as he can play well enough that it becomes ZvB, nobody plays the MU with the same intensity as him. As long as he doesn't just die to some hydra bust.
