Loser tries to claw his way back in to the game after being on the losing end of the opening builds and actually does a really good job of it, but it's just too much. Nice try by loser. If it wasn't so predictable I would recommend it.
Man I just don't know about this group at all. Hyuk, Horang, and Pure all perform at totally random times whenever they feel like it, while Classic is kind of unknown at this point.

And I already got 1/4 on the other liquibet T_T
The thing about Hyuk is, he wins 50% (or rather 45%) of the time regardless of who his opponent is, So if he ever got in a BO5 with flash..yeah
On June 03 2010 17:35 Trap wrote: As long as Hyuk checks behind his mineral line for cannons he should advance.
Which means: He doesn't advance. It will either be cannon rush or 1 base reaver. Or just something as simple as a single DT slaying 52 drones when hyuk was up 3 bases. Those things always work against the Hyukster.

I had the same problem a while ago. It just showed loading screen and didnt even load the chat. I have no idea what caused it and also no idea what fixed it.

Hm, I don't understand live report at all. It was all like "Wow, interesting and close game, Pure made couple mistakes and lost." In fact, Pure was absolutely horrible in that game, losing entire armies to randomly placed mines, not bothering to defend his expansions, losing Shuttles etc. Classic played quite solid Starcraft but still, it was totally Protoss' dumb play that ended the game prematurely.
Sometimes I feel bad for Protoss. Pure had two Dragoons banging on the ramp for fifteen minutes and now Horang's Scarabs betrayed him. Seems like the AI might be pretty big factor in games at pro-level; you don't have time to fix the problems it causes. Anyway, Hyuk's five six? Hatcheries prevailed. GG.

Reavers are fucking annoying. Horang2 lost to stats on Polaris Rhapsody specifically because of Reaver AI, he had 2 perfect scarabs ready to rape probes, but they failed.
And why did Hyuk take the mineral only as his 3rd... when he could've taken a gas expo... then maybe he'd be able to get more lurks rather than mass ling and still tech to hive.

I think he lost one recently just TLPD isn't updated yet

Man, that's gotta suck. Think how much you rage when you get cheesed like this on ladder, and Pure just got cheesed out of a huge tournament to some noob who I have serious doubts will give us better games than pure would've.

I don't know about that. Horang2 is one of the best P's to watch, if for no other reason than the fact that ANYTHING is possible when he plays.

Horang got his battery up, not to mention had more units out. Pure wouldn't have been able to fight it.
he had a bunch of probes, probably could have lost like 5-7 and come out even. you're probably right though, it was pretty much over. Would have been nice to see him try.

He threw the game vs. Classic by not sending an obs to where he recalls and by being unable to not run into mines the whole game. he has no one but himself to blame for this.

I for one don't really enjoy watching cheese. Maybe in a BoX, but in a Bo1 it's just retarded.

Pure would probably lose to Horang2 in a straight-up game, honestly.

I'm really not sure, as Horang2 PvP is one of the very best...

So you're agreeing with me?
Yeah, just quoted the wrong guy, sorry... Horang2 taking his inside natural, Hyuk on only two bas it seems... Ling all in ?
Really typical of Hyuk. He's with Killer, Kwanro, Shine and a whole bunch of other zergs who have no late game play and are forced to abuse the zerg macro mechanics.
Ugh if he just pulled all his main Probes he probably could have gotten the two Cannons up. Hate it when someone pulls half their Probes then pulls the other half but it's too late.
On June 03 2010 18:46 s.Q.uelched wrote: Aww... Horang2 should have probe scouted for 3hatch all in so he could get cannons up earlier.
Lol should have prepared for it anyway since it was Hyuk.
Stork's interview vs Kwanro a while ago was hilarious. Made 4 cannons just because it was Kwanro lol.
Haha, yup. I've read the interview. Though, didn't Stork later say he was laughing because in practice that was the only way he won on that map? And he basicly gambled on Kwanro trying to bust? I'm not sure... But, I'm sure I read something about Stork saying that particular interview of that game was molded/shaped for entertaining value?

On May 07 2010 10:39 MrHoon wrote: Let me clear some shit up about Stork and Fomos
Fomos (and Esports Daily at a certain extent) is known to exaggerate the shit out of interviews once in a while. Remember the Kwanro vs Stork interview? Well Kwanro and Stork had a chance to talk to each other on the show "뒷담화" (starcraft backstage-talk) and both players said that the interviews seemed very exaggerated from the original and both players had no hard feelings for each other.
To me, the previous interview is either once again manhandled by Fomos Staff or Stork was being brutally honest.
Also another thing, when I read the whole Stork interview I wasn't OMGSHOCKED or anything, this is how stork does every interview in Korea since 2006. It's just that how we looked at Stork from 2006-2008 changed dramatically from how we look at Stork 2008-Now (nobody seems to remember Stork was the most hated progamer on TL for a loooonnngggg time). Foreign people just love stork while Koreans still bash him. Some criticize Stork for being unprofessional, while we the foreign audience find all his actions 'badass' at a certain extent.
Stork is a progamer who's condition of play relies 99% on confidence. When stork is even a little unconfident everything he does is absolute shit. But if Stork starts getting on a roll he starts raping shit. This is how Stork just rolls.
FUNFACT:Do you want to know the real reason why Stork was laughing during Kwanro vs Stork when kwanro all-in'd? Was it to mock Kwanro? No! Infact here is what really happened. The week before the OSL game, Stork was practicing PvZ game on Fighting Spirit to play against Kwanro. Stork lost almost every single game. That's right, Stork's lategame PvZ wasn't up to par from his teammates. Stork raged so hard because it was the only decent map to play PvZ on. Instead Stork just practiced all-ins from Zergs because that was the only thing he had confident in. And when Kwanro all-in'd, Stork was so happy. He couldn't believe his eyes when the only thing he practiced for happened in real life. That is why Stork was laughing. (source is 뒷담화, just go to ongamenet.com and look for the KAL OSL Episode)
That said, I honestly think the journalist misinterpreted what Stork said during an interview and they decided to just spice it up because everybody wants a source of Drama. But then again if this was what Stork really said I wouldn't be a single bit surprised. He is a player who flows with the waves of confidence he earns or loses.
PS: to that guy asking about if Stork is being Flamed; the whole Khan team is being flamed by mostly Kal/Clam/Flash fans because of MSL and PL lol.
I've watched a few Classic games. Not that impressed. Sure he's won a couple games against mid ranked gamers, but his play is good enough only to considered above average, anywhere near the top is impossible. But w/e. Good for him.
