If Flash had beat Effort like he was supposed to this would be one of the greatest MUs in the history of video games. However by losing Flash has put Jaedong into a really shitty situation. If Jaedong loses he will be compared to Effort and many wouldn't consider him the top zerg anymore (whereas if Flash had beat Effort and then JD, JD could still hold some pride on the issue). If Jaedong wins, the wins significance is significantly weakened by the fact that Flash just lost a bo5 TvZ. People would say that it's not a big deal since Effort did it or would say Flash is slumping or say TvZ is his worst MU. Regardless of what people say JD, just like last year, will have his win devalued for things outside of his control. Basically, Flash really dropped the ball last week with the OSL finals and it really hurts this one. Having said that I still think the games will be great and the winner will be hailed as the best in the world but the real loser last week wasn't Flash; it was Jaedong. (Oh and I have no doubt the hype for this thread would be significantly more had Flash won. This is nothing compared to OSLs thread) | ||

Flash will win 3-2 imo, Triathalon is too terran favored (but maybe Neel solved it like Silver solved Monty Hall lol) Liquibet title comes down to this if this is the last bet (please let it be so), Skronch bet on JD and I bet on Flash :O | ||

If Jaedong takes even one game to late-game and wins, the comparisons to Effort won't be very loud. | ||
