Pretty much the same way Nada did?
Genius terrans ftw!

Some people are so talented they don't need coaches to become the best. Again there's an apt comparison with Roger Federer.

Flash is on the verge of overtaking Jaedong as the highest ELO versus both Zerg and Protoss (~20 points away in each) ever... Give it a few more weeks, and he'll be undisputed as the most dominant player, ELO-wise, ever.
Not sure about this, he's going into the BOX portions of both leagues. Typically players see their highest ELO right about now because coming up you're fairly guaranteed to drop a few games in BOX play. That said Flash has improved his vP by ~80 points since this point in the last leagues so maybe he will.

I have no doubt that Flash could improve every player in his team if he wanted to. However it would come at a cost to his own dominance.

Much love to Flash and all, but I think Stats was the real hero for not only being the guy to propel Flash into ace but doing so in an extremely well executed game vs one of the top zvp'ers. His multitasking had me on the edge of my seat.

Hey SuperArc, nice to finally see you giving Flash the praise he deserves!

I still have a huge grin on my face from Flash vs Soulkey. The chat in Mystlord's stream was so hilarious.
"LOL, Flash is double-expanding even though he's already equal on bases!"
"wait what? No he's triple expanding! oh god lol"
"Oh my god, no, he's QUADRUPLE-EXPANDING!"

The coahing staff deserves some credit too. Flash gets off days, or doesn't have to play ace, when he has a tight schedule. And the other KT players have improved too, it's just not as dramatic as Flash.

I heard jaedong never shares his reps.

How often do we see a Terran (or any race at all really) with 10 bases? XD

that ace match was an absolute slaughter. seriously, holy shit, free looked helpless the entire game. literally everything he tried was either useless or completely negated
that push was HUGE and came so fast free didnt even have leg upgrades for his zealots, forget arbiters/stasis...

Rather the unique way Flash approaches the game, in particular, his decision making processes. He is very capable of explaining why he does things, I don't believe he does so however.

I think he cried because of what he went through after he won his first OSL, going from 14cc, " I don't need turrets" and being eliminated from every MSL and OSL due to abuse/cheese or his own mistakes. I think that after he won his second OSL he truly felt how hard the road to winning an OSL really is, and thus cried tears of joy . If anyone deserved an OSL last year, it was Flash.

Flash doesn't win game after game against great players simply because he's more mature or has a better mentality. He understands the game better than them, so he's able to consistently make the best choices possible.

Flash understood the game better than most two years ago.
But he had to mature and get a better mentality to really break out.

I'm saying the change in how he looks at the game and how he thinks as he plays it has helped him what he is today. He specifically mentions it several times in post-game interviews. He also drives fear into his opponents, and he capitalizes on that.
