Counters instead of defending (which is ok), but then does no damage with the counter while losing all his bases??

I feel as if he stayed with gateways and maybe 1-2 stargates for arbs, adding more gateways at 1'oclock, he could ahev controlled the whole map on flash and beast ahead like 6 bases to 3-4.

At the time when he made those Stargates he had 7 bases, though. I don't think he was expecting Flash to be able to kill all those expansions so quickly.

he hardly lost 7o'clock, and thats when he was going into the carrier transition, if he could of held that bottom of the map any longer, flash would have been starved out.

This is deja vu. Kal misses the timing with the carriers, waits too long to make too many and gives Flash amply time to mass on gols.

Yeah pretty much. Are Carriers even that good on Fighting Spirit? There doesn't seem to be enough cover for the Carriers. Seems like having millions of Gates in every expo would be a better strategy on FS.

Kal's play was all over the place. He had expansions everywhere, upgraders, the whole tech tree researched. . . and Flash shut it all down ezpz. Flash is insane.

Though I have a feeling that Kal might have been afraid of trying to go ground late game vs. Flash's 3/2 mech army, since Flash made Kal's ground forces look so completely helpless in proleague recently. Though of course that was a 2 player map so there weren't as many bases for Kal.

kal got overconfident and had his own strat in mind, i think mystlord is right and im sure if he would of kept on with the ground forces, it would of been a way better game.

ps. he did lose alot of units though, right before the transition.
