Kolll got a WO in round 1; he didn't play it.
It wasn't his fault, but from the point of actually playing through all the rounds, he essentially came from Q2 not Q1.

If you mean the two lings that were at Ret's third, they moved all of Ret's zerglings out of position so Castro could cross the bridge easier afterwards, so they weren't entirely wasted.

Ret's ling micro is worrisome. I don't know how Castro's lone ling made it in through like 40 lings in front of the ramp. That shouldn't have happened. Ret's superior mechanics overall though, that's what is carrying this. Nice game.

Very nice timing by Ret. He attacked while the upgrade was still going, so Castro ended up with too few Mutalisks for the upgrade to pay off.
Overall, in spite of a few slight blunders, Ret was stronger in Game 3. We shall see if he can use that momentum in Game 4.

You can see all the reactions and suchlike. You can remember the excitment you felt at the time.

I love the live reports because while I watch the games on the stream, I usually come back to read peoples opinions/emotions on each play by play afterwards and it's kinda nice because it's like taking off a blindfold (i.e. not being biased for the rest of the game) and comparing my overall impression of everything to everyone elses.

Good games. Is it just me that in games 1-3 Brat didnt have enough tanks? One swarm always stopped his attack and every game it was 2-3 bases vs 5-6. Game 3 he won because there were no swarms. His response to defilers is D level, I just dont know how he managed to hang on for so long.

I think it has to do with Day[9]`s flexibility as a caster. Out of all the commentators in the foreign community, he is the only one who can completely comfortably switch between "colourful" and "technical" commentating. So regardless of who he works with, he can easily adapt and make sure the cast is excellent.

Such good chemistry between Day[9] and Chill I think it has to do with Day[9]`s flexibility as a caster. Out of all the commentators in the foreign community, he is the only one who can completely comfortably switch between "colourful" and "technical" commentating. So regardless of who he works with, he can easily adapt and make sure the cast is excellent. Two excellent serieses. Zerg dominate this day. EDIT: Also, has anyone noticed how each race seemed to have a day of domination? First it was IdrA and Fenix winning, then it was Nony and JF and now Ret and Mondragon. It`s really funny. XD EDIT 2: Woops, I forgot IdrA and Fenix did not play on the same day. o.O Oh, well...
And Nony beat Tarson while Draco got smashed by SEn.

If fenix doesnt stop mondi in the early game or make some serious damage he is gonna be dead. Mondi late game was awsome. Ret vs sen would be an awesome zvz I think ret should take it

Mondragon have incredible lategame micro with defilers. If he can improve his macro, he will be the best.

to me it seems mondragon willingly sacrifices perfect macro for being able to be focused on key points and battles in a match, so this " If he can improve his macro, he will be the best." is not possible i think, its a trade-off in his case imo

Well it's a fact that his mechanics aren't too good(low apm), so if he got his apm up to like ~350, he would be able to focus on the micro while macroing like he should, so I don't think that's an intelligent thing to say. Someone like JD can macro really well while having even better defilers.
