Stork vs Stats was quite jawdropping. Great vs Violet was epic/sad (depends on who are you cheering for). It's one of this games where you ask yourself "How the fuck did this happen?". Jangbi vs Luxury was mighty fine example of how to dismantle Zerg. | ||

 I don't care if he keeps it up for another year. Other bonjwas never came close to this kind of domination... These months he's been the best player ever to walk the earth. If he drops it now, we will probably not see anyone at that level again.. Thats enough for me. | ||

1.) flash is displaying bonjwa-worthy play and domination atm 2.) to be considered bonjwa, flash has to win more titles and continue his current domination for a more extended period of time 3.) in an MSL finals flash vs jd, flash would be the clear favorite, but surely not with 10:1 odds or something crazy like this. some other thing i noticed: since i started following the proscene in late 08, i have taken a close look on flash, bisu and jaedong. all of them were showing sick starcraft for some time, but i always had the feeling like it might be ending soon. in the perspective of several dozens of games, they looked somewhat vulnerable even during their period of domination. whenever one of them had dominated for a time long enough to make the first guys talk about the b-word, they fell into some sort of 5-10 game minislump. flash this season on the other hand gives me a different feeling. the cumulative impression of all his games played is that of invulnerability. even if he loses a game, i dont fear his form and domination going to shreds. he makes me feel like his domination could go on for months. obviously nothing objective and maybe others dont share this impression, but still i think this time its different from all the short-term periods of domination that we have seen since the fall of savior. | ||

With Flash though, other Terrans just can't copy his game sense. There's no "oh look at what Flash did, if I do that too then I can dominate just like him". You see it sometimes when a Terran thinks they're going to be clever like Flash and try something like unorthodox timing M&M pushes against Zerg, only to have their force completely decimated by muta/ling right away. They don't have maphacks in their brain like Flash does, or his bionic control. That's why he's on a 22(!) game TvT streak. It's not that other Terrans don't know how to beat him in TvT, they just can't. His game sense is too good. What Terran are you going to ask to help you practice against Flash if you have a series against him? "Okay, for this practice I want you to play Flash style". "Uhhhh...." Who the hell are Jaedong and Stork going to ask, Hiya and firebathero? | ||

Perfect analysis. That's exactly what happened. Stork MIGHT, MIGHT have even survived it for the short term if he hadn't thrown away 4 goons to mines -_-. Too bad he did exactly that and his reaver had almost no space to micro in. | ||
