Flash is displaying bonjwa level Starcraft, the question is if he can keep it up. The bigger question on MY mind is whether or not he can take Jaedong out in a BO5.

If it came down to a Flash vs Jaedong BO5 in the MSL, and Flash 3-0d Jaedong and secures an OSL title in the same season, then I think it'd be too difficult to argue against Flash's candidacy for bonjwa.

But right now, I think even Flash fans agree that not enough games have gone on between Flash and Jaedong to really to determine that one is definitively better than the other. Let alone Flash vs Stork and Flash vs Bisu.

^ I agree with the above. Though I think flash would beat jaedong in b05 atm, and you can say "flash is better than jaedong" I completely 100% agree that its been way too little of time. Who knows what will happen a month from now. Jaedong up, flash down. Its happened before. You really cant call a bonjwa a bonjwa until the end of his reign anyways, when you can get out of the event look around and go "dayum, he did rape". Just saying, its a hard process to be objective about a present event and we can only accurately gauge flash months from now, when he has or has not accomplished more.

With all due respect good sir, nothing will ever surpass the EVER OSL 04 finals between Boxer and iloveoov.

I'm not talking about just the skill levels or the intensity of the games. Just the fact that it's Boxer. And iloveoov. Best of five. And it came down to the wire.

Flash and Jaedong may be the two best players of all time, but they don't have the same sense of friendship and - dare I say - emotional rivalry that Boxer and iloveoov had.

I feel the same way. Its like if Flash is playing insane, and Jaedong slumping, somehow JD turns into a different person and starts playing better. I'm definitely not that confident that Flash would 3-0 JD, but many JD fans (SuperArc in particular) just can't accept the fact that Flash is clearly the better of the two at the moment, despite Flash breaking every record there is and raping him in their H2H series.

This guy has a good point. Flash IS playing at a "bonjwa" level
His TvT's streak is the longest in history and he is playing light's out in all MU's

Why do people care about bonjwa? Flash is playing the best Starcraft ever played at the moment, something the bonjwas have not come close to (obv talking about absolute, why would I be considering comparative levels?)

Isn't this kind of a totally worthless argument anyway, since us foreigners don't get to bestow the bonjwa title on players? Seriously, leave the bickering there for the Koreans.

For now we can just say that this Flash kid is pretty decent at Starcraft, amirite?
