I told her i felt a bit down then proceded to explain to her why(aka a e-sport player i like lost a set). then her 'man'(hes such a fucking fag i dont really think hes worth getting called that but whateva) abruptly jumped in and said its just a 'computer game' ridiculing me for feeling down. So i said 'whatever im not even gona bother argueing' and he said something like 'Just as you should' or 'theres nothing to argue' So overall my day is fuck yeah awesome!!! what about you guys? | ||

He sent the SCV out to build the barracks at 7 supply and the command center was not flashing during that time. Even then that's not cheese, just a build order designed to deal with three hatch. Personally, I'm sad that Jaedong essentially forced a BO loss unto himself when he thought that he could still get away with his 12 hatch and outmicro Flash's bunker rush. Why did Jaedong forgot that the 15 year old Flash was pretty much only known for his impressive micro and constant ability to cheese I do not know. | ||

I'm pretty sure everyone thought JD was a pretty effing big douchebag for early pooling Fantasy the last two games of their series and in fact all you need to do is check the LR to see how pissed some people were... Now, since 9pool (production facility before extra psi) is a legitimate strategy and not cheese, so is 8rax. But I'll humor you, and let's say it is. Flash had a great reason to cheese: he was ahead 1:0 and on a map that favors Zerg. Even if he lost, JD's preparation would be thrown out the window, since generally it is safe to assume 1rax into CC every time, maybe spicing it up with a 14cc (an assumption he could no longer make), and that would give him a psychological edge in game 3. Also, he prepared the timing perfectly for 12hatch/11pool, Jaedong's most probable strategy, to increase his chances, and to deter JD for going for the same build in game 3... not allowing him an econ edge. Could he have won it otherwise? Probably. Flash is awesome. But this makes his usual build all that much deadlier - if he cheeses one out of every 20 games, you have to prepare to be on the receiving end of that in a Bo5, and have to play a little bit safer. | ||

Sorry to hear that. Its hard when someone doesn't understand and tries to act smart. . . Hopefully you can be around people that make an effort to understand when you are feeling down. How about: Flash is known for being a macro player who goes for fast CC. Flash expects that JD is likely to attempt to counter that with his own macro build, 12 hatch -> something. Flash is also not known for cheesing (past 2 years or so anyway). JD is therefore likely to have spent minimal time preparing to counter "cheese". What build exploits JD's likely macro build and likely practice tendencies? What build does JD's likely build exploit? Knowing those two answers, what build should Flash go for? | ||
