Flash prepared a brilliant strategy and executed it perfectly. It wasn't TvZ imba, and it wasn't Flash stealing Christmas; the preparation alone was Starcraft at the highest level. And contrary to the myth, Jaedong doesn't automatically win BO3s or BO5s against the odds by magically activating death stare mode. If he wins, he does it because he's the better player, or better prepared than his opponent. Flash is playing much better than Jaedong right now and would've been the favorite to win both a lategame in game 2 and an eventual game 3.
Also, Shine deserves some love. Maybe he "can't win from a disadvantage", but if that's so, then given his recent record, he's certainly good at putting himself in advantageous positions. And that's certainly a very useful talent toi have. His games have been very entertaining. Movie vs Shine should be a great matchup.
Yeah it was a great build by Flash where he builds a barracks at 8 and is perfectly safe against anything but a 4pool but wins against 12-hatch outright with no risk against 9pool or anything of the sort. How did he come up with such a creative and amazing build? Not to mention the fact that he's going to always get a free overlord as long as the Zerg isn't going for anything faster than a 9pool.
About Shine, yeah man he got this OSL no prob.

Apparently he sucks so much, yet he beat the supposed much better player that is Stork. I wonder who played the better game? Why would Shine play strategies he is not very good at? It would be stupid. He is clever enough to make use of his strengths. Stork was weak enough not to beat him.
And he certainly doesn't suck because he doesn't show new builds. By that standard, pretty much everyone nowadays would "not be a good player". This is the way SC is being played now.

I've decided that I will be cheering for Flash the rest of this OSL.
It would give me fierce delight to see Flash wipe the FUCKING FLOOR with Shine's ugly face. Then people can talk all they want about the intelligent, clever, aggressive, stylish, play that Shine has, since Shine is apparently this master strategist who just outplays Stork and knows the perfect moves to make. I'm sure he'll show the same amazing proficiency and strategic depth in a Bo5 vs Flash.

It's amazing that Flash can come up with good strategies like killing the overlord. Jaedong should have practiced more, so he would know that he's gonna lose his scouting overlord on that map. Maybe he had bad practice partners?
