Games will not be into full swing until close to November when everyone has finished their school and university work. Keep this in mind if you have signed up but are going away for the holidays. Captains will be decided when the teams are finalised too - you can nominate yourself for captain and the highest ranked played in the tournament who has expressed interest in captaincy will most likely get the role. Captaincy must be held by an A-team player, and involves such tasks as: Organise both A- and B-teams for your state. Organising matches between your state and another (schedule a time, submit lineup, etc.). Motivating team members. Helping with or organising practice sessions when applicable (both in your team and to help B-team players improve). Reminding or informing teammates of upcoming games, and doing your best to ensure they turn up on time. So if you are not willing to do these things to a sufficient level then don't apply! For any problems encountered in doing these tasks we will provide a list of contacts and advisors that you can approach. | ||

Sadly, I havent played starcraft for quite a while and even when I did play I wasnt very good at it (probs D+ at my peak), but if you get in one of those spots where the team doesnt have enough players I might be able to help out and fill a spot. | ||
