Hyuk's rallying his hydras outside Hwasin's nat and Hwasin only has 2 gols and a bunker to defend. Bunker/rines go down and Hwasin lifts his CC and pulls scv's.
Hyuk's muta control is pretty bad.. its always been one of his biggest weakness :l Bogus just totally missed that timing, but Hyuk wasn't bad enough to not defend that horribly mistimed attack lol..
Actually this gets me curious, a little before the Proleague finals (or was it after? idk) Hyuk said he was chose because his "winning percentage was high". Just who the hell is he practicing with?? lol

Well he has Fantasy and Bisu in his team...
A high winning percentage against Fantasy and Bisu?? Doubtful imo..

I mean he can practice with them, hence improving better than if he was practicing with average players, hence having a high winning percentage overall

skt is usually considered unstoppable anyway -_-; except by khan, january seems to have some sort of magical power.

hyuk decides to hatch a bunch more lings instead of giving away that muta timing, but it backfires as he mismicros his lings, and still loses the zergling battle in the middle with about equal numbers
I don't understand, how don't some progamers get an upgrade going asap? And if they don't, why don't they timing attack before an upgrade would kick in? =S
kal stuck having to all kill..this some bullshit, and you know hyuk is gonna 2 hatch hydra kal. Kal better go super mode I wanna see some good matches. Seriously hero dropped the ball they needed him for Bisu.
Even though I'd love to trash on Hyuk's micro, especially his lingvsling and his muta micro, he did a great job denying Hero's lings into his base, something I was rather impressed with.
Anyone know how the hell hyuk won that last big battle, with so many mutas left over?? Did he really have a big muta advantage, or was it upgrades, or what??

Let's hope so, or at least see Boxer play. And I was so disappointed when they sent in Hero, because I realized that there's no way Tossgirl would get a chance to play.

I think that it was just landing scourge, and the fact that hyuk had a ton more gas from getting his second gyser up so early compared to hero

Hyuk had more mutas because his 2nd gas was faster, he had an upgrade, and he landed more scourge.

really? well then the only other explanation is that hyuk split his scourge way better

You are wrong. They showed Hero's mutas after the battle, they still had no carapace.

I think that's what you meant.
I don't know, it seems like SKT (and every other team in the tournament) is sending out a lot of their young guys. I'm guessing that Mong would be sent out before Boxer, if Boxer is even under consideration.

Huyk had Carapace and then they switched to Hero's mutas which were 0-0.. right before the battle they had Carapace. I was on skype and all people saw it O_O.. You can check the vod.

Yeah I was pretty sure hero did not have +1 even after the battle, let alone before it.

hyuk's gas was way faster - it was about when hyuk got his 2 lings in that got 1 drone kill that hyuk started mining gas, and hero didn't have a morphing drone on the gyser.

In the rep, after hero lost all of his lings Hyuk was at 42 supply while Hero was at 34.

first pylon in base for kal, and hyuk is scouting in the wrong direction with his first two overlords -_-; first overlord is going towards the top left, and second overlord is going towards the top right.

Because there are 3 expos at each corner of the map, while loki just has them everywhere after the main, so it's harder for zerg to keep them on loki compared to 2 chokes on gods for 6 expos.
oh right i remember now, jangbi couldn't fe against lux in the msl finals or something right? not sure if it has anything to do with this thoguh i gotta rewatch that

Well, the rest of the teams had to fight their way up the ranks, with winner advancing to face stronger and stronger teams based on this year's PL rankings. Except for STX, after whom the league is named, and who are the organizers of it, they get seeded into the finals. I say its completely reasonable.

There's also the fact that STX won the last 2.

I actually turned off the stream about 30 seconds into that performance, cause I really really felt awkward when the guy to the right started singing. No depth or power in his voice at all, and by the time they got to the other two joining in, it just sounded like 3 wailing pigs. Sorry :S
I wake up to... this? This might just be the most pathetic results i've ever seen in SC history given who played, the name of the tourny and the pride that was on the line.

hyuk vs by.hero was actually a pretty good ZvZ, no build order advantages he just owned hero straight up. hyuk vs kal was also interesting, he reacted so perfectly to kal's strategy. hyuk vs bogus was kinda lame bogus played stupid, and the game against hwasin was decent too but he went mech
Ok, yesterday night I was out (ballroom midterms), came back midnight (the effing thing took like 5~6 hours wtf) then I wake up to see this, good job Hyuk!
