Agreed (even though I'm not 100% certain you're not being sarcastic). Combat is getting way to much shit here. I bet half of the people spewing out hate would actually get their ass kicked by him. It's pretty obvious after the showmatch that Chill is a level higher than Combat, but the skill difference wasn't extreme and he doesn't deserve much of the treatment he gets. ''Lol, he made a mistake! Fucking noob, he's D+ at most!''. I get nervous even when I play without any audience at all, so I imagine playing with 1400+ viewers might lead some more mistakes than usual. Combat showed up and he won a game. Kudos to him for that; it turned out a fun event. He's been lying about his skill level if he has claimed he's B- (I just watched one of his fpvods, and in it he talked about how ''This guy seems pretty good'', and after the game it turned out he was playing on D level  ), and he has abused. That sucks, but to me it seems as though he's quite sorry about it and is genuinely trying his best to amend (apology video, participating in this showmatch). As retarded as blind Combat-fanboys can seem to people on TL, many of his anti-fans seem to me. | ||

The fact that there was SO MUCH e-peen involved in this match and that they were both C level players made it mandatory to cast the games in a comical way - the trash talking made it all even better. If Day[9] attempted to make it all sound like "starcraft serious business" it would have been a waste - people were looking for something different - we can always just watch another pro-game since they happen everyday and we know the players are A+. I enjoyed it very much. The trash talking at the beggining of game 3 in Blue Storm is pretty much EPIC. | ||

And he commentated on some liquibitions. He is the best solo sc foreign commentator, but I would say Tasteless/Artosis duo>all. | ||

Was definitely not expecting that for his 6000th post haha. I wish there was another match up that we could do that would be this epic. Honestly IdrA playing F91 and getting stomped wasnt even that epic. I dont know if its something that could ever be repeated again. | ||

Doesn't matter who can kick whose ass, the hate is because of Combat's behavior and attitude. 2. He does not have any contact with those viewers, doesn't make a difference (neither does the number). The only thing that he would be nervous about is facing the fact that he's been lying and cheating to "B-". 3. What determines whether or not Combat deserves the treatment he gets? Is this something objective? If so, how would you quantify that? If it's subjective, then let people judge as they want. 4. I honestly doubt that he is genuinely sorry. The apology video, as pointed out by many, was horrible (as an apology video) and more of a justification of his side of things. Also, after apologizing, it seems that he's still abusing (not 100% about this, I heard somewhere). Once again, I'm not trying to start an argument. I just wanted to (somewhat) play Devil's advocate, cause personally I think you're letting Combat off too easily. | ||
