Now available at http://bwchart.teamliquid.net/

All credit to JCA. I don't have the ability to resolve the fact that he can't upload to bwchart.teamliquid.net--hopefully someone who does will be able to help soon
From JCAHi, I still dont have any idea how to update bwchart.com, so here is a new version. I fixed a few bugs, added smooth curves, and a new chart called "Map Coverage". It tells you two things: 1-how much percentage of the map you have buildings on (it doesnt care about buildings that were destroyed, of course) 2-how much percentage of the map you are moving units on (moving=move or attack command) Those curves work on a 8x8 grid placed over the map, whatever the size of the map. So it's a rough percentage, but it's good enough. The first curve is a growing curve, like resources, because we dont know if buildings were destroyed. The second curve is more like APM, because we consider unit movements only. To see that curve you need to check the "Units" check box. Also you can set the curve style (flat, dynamic, etc). It's quite fascinating to see that on some pro replays, guys are sometimes moving units on almost 50% of the map. Considering a lot of the map is not even usable to place units (cliffs, water, rocks, etc), 50% is impressive. Too bad I dont have my site on to explain how the computation of the curve is working. Cheers JCA Snapshot showing "Map Coverage" curves and the animated map at a moment where XiaOzl seems to be moving his armies all over the place, while GoOdy is adding buildings in many places too. You can see all the blue dots on the map where XiaOzl is moving units, which corresponds to the peak in his red curve:
My hat's off to JCA for being one of the best people in the BW community

So awesome! Thank you so much JCA, BWCharts definitely the most awesome SC:BW complement.

Too awesome! Just wanted to say thanks to JCA just like everyone else!
rounded graphs are nice, though it looks weird when a peak doesn't correspond visually to where the max is marked on the chart
awesome! just a question: how can i figure who player wins just watching the chart??
Wow, new update! Thanks a lot.
nice nice. haven't tried it yet but new features sounds both interesting and usable.
bump, thanks for uploading it
Interesting addition.
However, I found a bug. On the apm+hotkeys chart the very flat- very dynamic tab does nothing while it works fine on the normal apm chart. It seems as if it it takes the settings from the normal apm chart without properly showing which setting it uses and ignoring it when you attempt to change it. It worked normally in the previous version.

Awsome update to an awsome tool!

BWChart is indispensable. Awesome app. Map coverage seems like a pretty interesting feature.
In the new APM + Hotkeys chart though I can only see the first player. Does anyone know how to view the others?

Doubleclick the name of the player that is showing to disable that player, keep doing this until you get the one you want. I think it sorts them based on apm so it will always shows the player with the highest apm that is not disabled.

Its good to see bwchart get updated after such a long time. Good work! Thank you!
Thanks :D:D Its surely the most used tool in BW's history!
I cant imagine myself watching replays without this
i like this version alot better. wats the most improved feature is the BO analyzer. Before it used to be like 10 builds max or something, and sometimes the BO was wrong... this time its very detailed and right gj!
thanks! that building/unit coverage thing is neat!
thanks this is a lot of help to sc noobs like me

I think the only way is to open up the replay with bwchart and then select the "resources" chart. On the far right of the chart you can see which player left first (it's marked by the word "Leave"). If the loser of the game saved the replay it won't say "Leave" so there's no way to tell there.
