you have to see what works for you. I use 15fps and it works perfectly.
You can check in the FMLE "encoding log" tab... on the right side it tells you if there is frame drops under the "drops" section.
If you do see drops there then you just have to adjust your fps settings or maybe your bitrate, if you dont have serious drops it can be the codec that you are using. Try changing the codec settings or something similar.
If after all of that he still has troubles with the frames dropping then it can be his fault.

Doubt it's his fault, I had another friend come watch but he experience the same thing.

I'm having trouble with camtasia 5.02. I have my stream all set up, but the hotkeys wont work in camtasia to stop and start stream to fix colors in SC.. how frustrating.
Anyone have a solution?
I'm running vista BTW

instead of F7/F8 (for example) make Ctrl + F7/Ctrl + F8... has worked for some people here

HEY THIS IS AN EMERGENCY, ITS CHRISTMAS EVE HELP A FELLOW tl.Netter OUT!
So I've been using wifi, not my own, was not working well, kept saying Local and Internet, and then Local Only. I figure I have a virus REFORMAT. I didn't have a virus I just decided to buy my own internet, haha. Ok so. I no longer have access to any camtasia's that work with FMLE, i remember that 5 and under would work. If im wrong please correct that. Ill continue my search. But otherwise I need someone to link me a version of theirs, or where did you get yours. Please R.S.V.P. merry christmas, and a abuseful new year! ^_^ good song btw.
well im currently downloading an UNVERIFIED version on a website, and hoping for the best as its a version 5, and not 6. wish me luck!

you didnt restart your computer after installing... you have to do everything again and after installing camtasia you HAVE to restart... their driver is kind of sissy...

My bitrate is currently at 348 for video and audio (300 video 48 audio)
edit: all the settings in AFMLE work on my own channel, but it's his we're having trouble getting to work.

sounds like invalid username/password or channel name... username and password are case sensitive afaik, and channel name too i think.

All cases are correct for user name, channel name and password... if it's easier, you can PM me to help fix this... I have no idea what's wrong T_T
EDIT: Got it working! Very strange... the user name is different from the channel name, but if I set the Stream: to the username, and the fme url to use the user name instead of channel name after the mogulus/, it worked... o.O Thank you for your help Rage and RaptorX.

I'm having a problem with sound since I don't have speakers and I don't want people hearing me breathing and my keyboard, I'm trying to get FMLE to use the ingame sounds/my winamp in other words what I'm hearing and if possible my mic too but the only options I have are stereomix and mic neither of them are. I have the realtek HD audio manager before I think I had realtek HD audio input and it worked but it's disappeared on me O.O halpmeh

in FMLE, select your audio device and click on the tool on the right side to bring up the options. In the dropdown menu select stereomix.
Now on windows, in your taskbar. On the right side there should be a small speaker.
You have to unmute microphone in the PLAYBACK options. Then you have to select the Recording options. This depends on your card but usually you do that by clicking on options and selecting properties.
In recording options make sure stereomix is slected.
What i believe is happening is that either you dont have stereomix selected in Recording or FMLE or you do have it selected but you have your microphone muted in PLAYBACK. If you dont want them to hear you breathing then mute the microphone and leave stereomix so they can hear Starcraft sounds.
