Clearly you are using webcaster instead of Camtasia. didnt mean to be snide. i am using camtasia, FMLE, and webcaster. did i miss something? camtasia records my screen while FMLE encodes it for live streaming (which is turned on with the webcaster)? been messing with it for about 10 hours and cant figure it out. im sure it's simple oversight but as things like this can be frustrating, i am frustrated. when i watch the "sample.flv" that the encoder produces.. it is in 640x480 but on my stream channel it only shows the inner box of that 640x480 window. i am lead to believe that problem thus lies in camtasia or livestream. alas, i have messed with the camtasia settings. so i think it it in my livestream studio settings. in my sources box, i can only get one camera. that camera's video source is "camtasia video studio capture device" and there is no option to select an "external source" | ||

so starting the FMLE kicks the stream to live mode? thats the answer i needed.. thanks!! it finally works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sure enough my URL was wrong. thanks be to TOP and kentor and everyone else who responded to my drivel. | ||

 so yeah avoid the studio since there really is no use unless you want to transition some clips during streaming. | ||

No need for Studio at all to be honest. If you wanna chat, hop on Procaster or Webcaster to chat. This goes for anyone streaming to be honest. I see people in Studio all the time on stream when they really don't need to be. | ||

edit: fixed now new problem my starcraft game is slow while streaming. what can i do to speed it up? do i really have to enable cpu throttling? | ||
