im using camtasia 5 .0.2 and FLME 3
I have the zoom-fail problem. in my livestream studio page under the SOURCES >> CAMERA field there is only one camera and the source is camstudio capture device. i read about that rage mentioned having a second camera from the external source.. how do i do that. thanks in advance

Sometimes when I use Camtasia it changes my viewing size to half of its original size for no reason? The settings still say 640x480 but the box is only 320x240 in size.

It does that. Just let adobe FMLE fix the size cuz that's the one that matters

????? i would love to let FMLE fix the size. the problem is that it doesnt. consult the image above... why does the livestream only show the middle box portion of the 640x480 and not the whole 640x480 which is clearly displayed in the FMLE's output viewfinder?

?????? I wasn't even responding to you lol. Clearly you are using webcaster instead of Camtasia.

ok, i figured out how to turn on the stream using only camtasia and the encoder. but the zoom in problem remains. must be a settings issue?
+ Show Spoiler [image] +
as i see this picture. camtasia records in 640x480, the encoder is receiving and outputing a 640x480 image, but the livestream studio is receiving and broadcasting only the inner, distorted dimensions of the camtasia recorder/viewfinder...

FMLE kicks the stream to into live mode because of the AutoLive=true at the end of the URL.
so yeah avoid the studio since there really is no use unless you want to transition some clips during streaming.

No need for Studio at all to be honest. If you wanna chat, hop on Procaster or Webcaster to chat. This goes for anyone streaming to be honest. I see people in Studio all the time on stream when they really don't need to be.

Yeah should add an EXIT THE STUDIO guideline after getting rid of the ticker and optimizing the studio because a lot of people are having the 320x240 problem due to being inside the studio.

guys a little help here. when i go live output mode on camtasia it goes back to 320x240.
edit: fixed now new problem
my starcraft game is slow while streaming. what can i do to speed it up? do i really have to enable cpu throttling?
|
I was trying to start my stream today and everything worked fine until I started starcraft. First camtasia studios closed down, I tried again and same thing happened. Third time it was starcraft that crashed. Anyone know why this is happening? It never happened before.
--------------------------------------------------------
Nvm I got it to work somehow by restarting the livestream webpage. I think that is what caused the problems, not camtasia.
