I'll bet losing to Guemchi, who's ELO is barely over 2000 hurts his rating a lot.

Why is this thread still getting bumped? Bisu's peak is over 2300 already. -.-

Jaedong now has 2304 in ZvZ, which is the highest mirror ELO for all players. It's also second among all individual matchup ELO ratings, behind only iloveoov.

TLPD is a great tool.

If my memory doesn't fail me, Bisu was 2315 after defeating July. 2 wins and a loss to Guemchi got it to 2307. ELO rankings are ruthless.

oov's vZ peak is 2309 and jaedong's next zvz is against GGPlay. I assume I am right that if Jaedong > GGPlay (very very very likely) he will have set a new vZ elo peak?

Why not a flat 2000?

2000 was the default set ELO for all Pros when they enter. Generally, 2200 means a player is one of the best, and 2300 is only reserved for Bonjwa-level players. I know that Jaedong and Flash aren't on the same level career-wise as iloveoov or Savior, but for half a year when they made their peaks, they were almost as dominant, but simply without as many titles.

2285 - NaDa's peak and he still was a bonjwa

Flash is over 2300 again. 2312 to be more exact. Whats wrong with this kid?
ooooo
According to Reach, he is the fastest learner he has ever seen. He start bw only like 2/3 years ago. Infact, his bw history knowledge is so limited, he didn't even know what the map Guillotine was.

Yea, out elo rankings have been subject to inflation (normal in elo ratings). What was a bonjwa level rating in the past (2200+ ie boxer) has risen over time to 2250+ and now 2300+. What's amazing about oov is that he set the elo peak record at a time where the level for bonjwa would be about 2250; so he was smashing it! If oov had done that today, he would be sitting at a cool 2370-2400 at the moment i would think.

That has more to do with TLPD's list of games being more incomplete (intentional or not) than Nada being less "dominant". TLPD is almost exclusively based on Kespa officiated matches only, which shortens the list of games played by the older generation of gamers such as Boxer or Nada. The current format of 5 day proleague and two "major" individual leagues filling up the calender has been only going on for about two years now. Comparing ELO points of different players from different eras using the list of games TLPD provides will lead to very retarded conclusions.

Once again, inflation explains all. :D

Bisu has an annoying habit of losing to random scrubs though, so we'll all be biting our nails during that vs Movie game. =P

(Man, it would be so hawt if he all killed CJ, then went on to 3-0 Jaedong. That would set the ELO bar so high I don't think it could ever be reached again)

Bisu is insane right now, though I highly doubt he will win a title this season, the top players atm almost get knocked off semi-unexpectedley.
