I think they added an extra 24 hours to it because last night I could've sworn it said like 1 day and 1 hour and now its 2 days.

Erm no. Why do you even think like that? When I first saw the countdown, I worked out what day it would hit 0 and at what time. So for me it's Saturday at 9pm. Still is according to countdown.
