If that is the case, you don't even need a bot to know IP of the one you've just whispered, by just monitoring all your connections before and after you make the whisper (using NETSTATS command in Windows) | ||

There may also be hacks for Starcraft which display it directly on screen, but basically you can always use netstat or other network analysis tools to see which connections are active, and thus see the IP addresses.
