@Sir.Kimmel
That's the mouse I use also, and it's friggin huge, but I definitely like it. I've never tried one of these minis, but my fanboyism might drive me to test run one...
I find with the big mouse when I play SC I just keep my finger tips on it, I feel I can still be pretty dextrous with it, and the accuracy is superb.
Edit: I'm pretty sure M-UV55a is an optical mouse? On Nal_rA's player page on the MagicNs site it says he uses a "Logitech Mini Wheel" I think as opposed to a Mini Optical.
Logitech Mini Wheel
Can't be bought anymore apparently, obviously since it's a ball mouse.

I already had bought the Logitech Mini Opticals for my laptop before even i knew what sort of mice the progamers used, now i use it to my desktop computer x)
edit: This is what ive seen bisu use btw

Yeah, I bought a wireless mouse, and it was a complete dissapointment.
The batteries only lasted 3 (that's right) hours before they died, even though the box claimed the battery life was a month. They must have assumed people only use computers 6 minutes a day. On top of that, it tended to spaz out about every 5 minutes. I couldn't play anything or do anything with it.

which is better, Laser or Optical?
|
|
|
i thought laser is more superior from a technical stand pt.
1. laser gives sharper detection (due to uniformity of the light) 2. less power consumption.
|
no love for razer's here?
i originally had the Diamondback 1600 DPI before i switched to the Copperhead 2000 DPI and i love this thing to death
=P
and yea...laser > optical for reasons stated above
EDIT: oh and to stay on topic...any pros use Razer?

Its great, made me laugh About the mouse, I have no idea sorry. just regular mouses I guess, whatever suits them. Umm okay? I don't think his intention was to make your sorry ass laugh. What Kennigit said. Many progamers use those retail Logitech mice and Boxer at least until very recently still, like Nal_rA used a ball mouse. Wow, douche bag, way to take someone being nice and then completely bash them, hope u get run over by a truck.

Anymouse is okie as long as you feel comfortable with it. Some people think that you will have advantage if your mouse fast, but it not always true, because it will reduce your accuracy as well. I have seen one FVOD of nal_ra, and in this video he decrease window mouse pointer speed to really low.
But when you like fast mouse, then go with high DPI mouse. And if you want to know what is the difference of increasing mouse speed between switch to high DPI and increase window mouse speed (soft), then open paint, and try to draw a flower with your mouse, you will know.
I currently use Habu, and quite satisfy with it. My keyboard is G15, it also good. My last keyboard is Reclusa, and I highly NOT recommend people for it.
Reclusa feel really good at first, when you type, you dont feel like you pressing keyboard, but pressing PS2 button. But nightmare come fews day later, when I press one button, it not response, I press it again, and this time it response as twice (even more). I switch to G15 2 weeks later.

uhh laser mice suck. Optical >>>>>>>> laser
As for a reason, Laser mice have issues keeping track of your motions when youre moving quickly, which many games require.

i have the white explorer mouse too. I stole it from school, its easy on the fingers.
oh wow its optical, i never knew...
