Chaoslauncher itself should never cause problems like that. So it is either some plugin, or the combination of some plugins.
Obsmode is the best candidate, but APMAlert and Stormplugin might be possible too.
Or if you force some outdated plugins to run with "run if incompatible" then that is likely to cause crashes too.

sorry for the bump but , I can't get it to start Bw even when i give the correct path, (scloader.exe) i using a no-cd loader, when I click it , it works and im able to enter BW but for some reason when I give that exact path to the Chaoslauncher it asks me for a CD

For Replay Autosaver it would be Really helpful if you made it like BWchart, where you can put in what the replay name is with variables for player names and game name. I know its a lot of work but it would help a ton

The windowed mode plugin is not working for me, my nod 32 antivirus catches it at extraction. Can anyone help with this?

Extract it into any folder, and just run Chaoslauncher.exe. If you're running Vista, you may have to run it as administrator.

I think a folder outside the sc directory is best. Like for example, C:/Program files/chaoslauncher would work best
as for W-Mode triggering antivirus, my avast! antivirus used to do it, so I submitted a false positive query to them, and now is no longer a problem

Why are you using a no-cd loader anyway, they removed all copy protection from 1.15.2 onwards.

rename scloader.exe to broodwar.mpq and it should work in the new SC versions. But I won't include a nocd with Chaoslauncher for legal reasons. And if you have a valid CD-Key you can download SC from Blizzard. And if you don't have one, I won't help you.

I have a valid CD-key and an original CD but a year ago I lost it. So here im stuck with no-cd launcher 
I rename it to broodwar.mpq but still can't get it to launch.

Hey, are there any plans to reinclude the feature to make skirmish games vs. the comp automatically get set to fastest? I practice against the computer a lot and so do my friends, it'd be really nice. Especially to practice splits.

Why don't you just go onto the Blizzard store website, make an account, input your CD-key and then download a legit version from the store? It's totally free, and you won't need a CD.

i think he may have also lost the cdkey, if not...then yes. just go on blizzards site and load your cdkey to your account.
