Got 8:45 with 6 nexus then 15 gate zeal on the first try, build could use a little refinement though as my 5th and 6th nexuses were built when I had 800 minerals. Edit: never occurred to me that I could click "continue playing". Edit: Got 8:34 with 5 nexus then zeals, it seems to be just a bit better than 6 nexus mostly because the 6th base is so far away that the maynard time is too costly. Anyway this seems to be the limit with protoss, I tried 4 times and couldn't improve on this. It really pays to build all the pylons first, then all the gates, then the zeals, and build all zeals at once. Otherwise it's annoying searching through gates to find which of them aren't producing. uploaded the latest replays on rapidshare to avoid bloodshed clicky please watch them only if you have completely run out of ideas, it took me quite some time to come up with the optimal builds. that doesn't mean there's no faster way of course, just that i don't know of any  | ||

what's the point of saying you beat the times in this contest when you're breaking the rules "-If you managed to broke one of the records, prove it by uploading the replay. I will update this post with the current records." i'll believe you when i see your replays. if you really have them like you said you did from the hungarian community tournament, you might as well post them. don't reply with another excuse or it'll be obvious you're faking it, or atleast that's my take on it. | ||

I've spend several hours in finding the optimal timings for starting factories/supply depots/gateways/pylons, because that's what matters the most. As far as I can see, he used very similar timings but better execution than me (maybe I'm wrong - if yes, sorry), so if you wanna experiment and come up with the best solution on your own, don't watch the replays. Actually, when I held the contest in the hungarian community, it had two stages for each race. In the first "secret stage", only the best times were available, but no replays. In the second "open stage" the replays of the best three times were released. | ||
