It's not just misogynists, the forum is full of far-right supporters, anti-vaxxers, people supporting Russia, etc. Honestly, it's surprising that there are some decent people left there, lol. | ||

We are asking a simple explanation on why it's ok to allow someone without integrity to be apart of our scene. Even if google translate isnt the most accurate, even if the comments taken as a whole are representative of the views of NW, it speaks volumes for how that forum chooses to conduct itself. The fact that they also are practically brigading into the two Rapid-related threads to defend him so vigorously is also another testament to what goes on in that forum. I don't see any Teamliquid members going there to argue. | ||

Certainly not been my experience of Poles over here, or many TL regulars from there who post more thoughtfully in a second tongue than I do in my own. And people are always more energised if they have an axe to grind, I mean are people as liable to bother registering for a forum just to go ‘hey I broadly agree’? That there’s such a disconnect in opinion between regulars whose names I instantly recognise, sometimes just reading a post without even checking the nick, and low post number lurkers/new accs kinda indicates some redirection from elsewhere specifically to argue on this topic. Of course there are cultural differences on these kind of topics. For those familiar with football (soccer *shudders*) there was a pretty clear divide between British/European fans, and those from further afield on whether Manchester United should keep or sack Mason Grewnwood. But I don’t really think there’s some massive disconnect between where I am and Poland on the topic more broadly, and there’s plenty of the same victim blaming and ‘skepticism’ from Brits and Irish too. It would be nice if Eonzerg, Nyoken, Razz and Voddy could cast all non-Tastosis events | ||
