He's been ban evading and harassing the BW community for a very long time, constantly spamming people about CoachAI and then getting mad when people aren't interested. At first people were politely telling him off, then ultimately after he wouldn't take no for an answer he started getting banned from places, and now he regularly shows up to do exactly this. It's the exact same type of harassment each time (same style, same way of getting around @everyone server rules), and I think he's probably using a self-bot for it. Last week when he did this (when this topic was originally made) I had literally hundreds of notifications overnight (BW Melee community alone has 900+ notifications) because not every Discord has a sufficient amount of mods to catch it early. | ||

Good Luck  I mean all discords got hit big and small, the probably biggest ones(CPL and FBW) dealt with it by banning his alts before he did it(CPL, and even then we missed one and there are a few suspicious ones that still lay in potential wake) and FBW just has active mods 24/7 so they acted rather quickly when it happened. The dude joins with multiple accounts, invite his alts and have some being without activity for long enough to like pass any "cant post if you are new to the server" type stoppers and atleast in regards to CPL we dont really want to limit folks from joining the server or people that are new to discord since its an effort to help new people get into game/community. Same we might not want to restrict people that aint super active on discord since some people go inactive for bouts and then come back both on the coaches side or the players side. So its a bit of a conundrum. Personally I dont want to post in this thread cause I dont want to give him more attention and what has been needed to be said on the topic has been said already but I felt like I had to adress this, its not really that easy in every and all cases to deal with this without seriously impacting the ambition of some of the discords hes hitting. I dont really get why you'd want to dedicate a lot of time in making a tool for a game and then try your darnest to make the small community playing it have a bad time, must be better ways to spend your time than this and especially since practically all the servers hes hitting the people that he damages are volunteers just trying their darnest to help the community out by sheer good will and their free time. | ||

If you have admin on other servers he's spammed you might be able to collect more from the Audit Log). | ||
