Kame what evidence do you need? I can confirm for BWCL, bag of builds and at least 3 more. But yeah i agree it wasnt an "attack" in the traditional sense, just spam essentially | ||

To all the people defending him, tolerating such bullshit in our community is not acceptable. This deranged fucker has done too much already and he deserves no sympathy whatsoever. He's a parasite that refuses to let go, while terrorizing communities with his bullshit. Fuck him. I won't waste my time detailing all of the shit he has done but I invite everyone to search TL and beyond and DYOR. | ||

We banned Moataz from the SB discord a few months back and did not get hit in this wave of spam. While that doesn't conclusively indicate that it's him, it's further evidence in that direction. Add onto that that he was recently banned from Reddit, and you can start to see that he's running out of options for places to spread his weird conspiracy theories and spam so, here we are. | ||

My first encounter ever with him was last December/this January when he joined our RCC (Red Clan Cup) Discord server that is solely used for our far and between tournaments. He joined and shortly after posted a self promoting post with links to his stuff which was promptly deleted. Now, the topic of the general channel was quite clearly: "Keep this channel RCC related. No spam/advertising.". The last 2 times were under the disguise of trying to reach Dreamer (by pinging him at the end of it) and asking him to cast some matches or something. All still linking to his stuff. Nobody really joins that server usually outside of when we host a tournament. After Moataz joined in December and got banned on January 3rd, we got multiple accounts joining, starting January 4th. One even got marked by Discord as a likely spammer. Surprisingly that server was not spammed during the latest wave. After replying that he spammed our server and continued after being told not to, he acted like none of that was true. After that he pinged Qikz, asking him if he wants to cast some of his stuff, since Qikz spoke favourable of Moataz's stuff before. Inlcuded was a link of a clip where Qikz said something positive/supporting of Moataz's stuff. Qikz swiftly replied, telling Moataz not to ping him. Moataz was shortly after banned and all messages were removed from the TDR Discord. He has previously spammed the Liquipedia server with mass pings because his project didn't get its own LP page (as I was told by a LP admin/contributor). Seems to me he makes custom maps/tools that, if not the product of the second coming at least seemed to be reasonably well-received by people But that’s not enough somehow? I mean what’s he actually want? | ||

For the BWCL server: massive spam, lying about being in ash and insulting people using the tag, then trying the same with other clans, more spamming, insulting clan leaders. And that was during my time as a bwcl admin, he had already been banned for life by face for spams and other issues too before. As for people telling us to meet halfway, there is no halfway with this kind of behaviour. Few seasons ago in CPL he was in my team and I and several other did try to help him and he was ok for a grand total of a week before losing it (literally) again, this person needs actual treatment and I do hope they get it. As for your post Minerals, 2 wrongs do not make a right. Whataboutism is not a good defense, if you have seen the behaviour you talk about, report it and hopefully it ll be dealt with. | ||

I fucking hate going into this territory, for obvious reasons. Having been there, done that, got the t-shirt, been extremely mentally unstable myself, been in an institution for basically a year. This kind of behaviour ticks too many achingly familiar boxes There isn’t, as you say a halfway solution. Guy needs help, not for the wider BW community’s good but for his own. I mean I got it and over time realised I was being a gigantic pain in the arse in the prior period. | ||

Limit postings per minute, easy/fast to find the spammer and ban before he can do any real damage. 2. Close the discord and require a link to tl.net account with that account name in the profile signature or something. Any with 0 posts or less than bla bla you dont allow. 3. A donation for joining the discord, small sum but that will actually make him pay for his crimes lol. 4. Check how other big discord servers handle this issue, its most likely by not allowing new people to post until they stayed x amount of time or limit their posting abilities to zero until they earned it. Possibilities to limit spammers are endless and its on the admin side to figure it out. I personally would only allow people who link their tl.net account to chat (if the discord server has anything to do with tl.net that is). Good Luck  | ||
