So, eventhough I never stoped watching BW I did get a little far away from bw news, progaming scene, etc. I did heard some details about this crypto currency scandal and now Flash and Bisu becoming like the new Savior but idk much more about the matter and I would like to know if someone can sumerise or explain the current state of the situation. Is Flash still in military? I thought Bisu was kind of retired but now I see he is in ASL 13 so he seems to be far from it, but his YT channel is completely abandoned and I havent seen him streaming lately. So he is still active but does not stream anymore? Did he and Flash actually become kind of hated characters to the point they kind of had to cease public appearances and streaming? Because that would be so sad..

Flash and Bisu are in redeemable positions. “Coingate” wasn’t directly involved with esports and matches so they can continue to play. Savior was banned for match fixing which is involved so teams and tournaments in Korea totally shut him out.
Flash is still in the military. When steamers are in the military they don’t stream at all because they view it as a job.

Him being signed up for ASL 13 is a sign of that. Hopefully the Korean netizens calm down for once, though some backlash was deserved IMO.

I never thought Bisu’s scandal was a real one but overly hyped imagined one. Now is not the time to be social justice warriors.

What I wanna know is the marital / dating status of Bisu. That handsome man is 33 years old now and it's time to get attached. Many pro-gamers of the old Kespa days are married (even with kids) already.

Height: Zealot
Occupation: Protoss
Hobbies: corsair dancing han-bang pushing getting the scarab shot storming his min pile

a lot of coingate people came back with apology. Even with the general lesser(?) opinion of them from general public due to this incident, seems like they will all come back without much pushback although there are disapprovals and memes out there

He's regularly streaming for a few weeks now. Maybe you didn't pay attention?

All smoke without fire.
The real fans don't give a shit about that non-sense.

That being said, it does seem he's back for the time being at least, and I'm not sad to see that.

What is there to say? People like flash and bisu and will forgive them for the scam, that's all there is to it. I for one will always enjoy their gameplay, they deserve all the credit for their bw gaming skills. But for me it will always be apparent that they are also low life scumbags, double crossing greedy losers of the worst sort, people that no one would want to be associated with. But let them play for our enjoyment, they are good enough for that, we don't need upright characters when it comes to clicking.

bisu was innocent, flash was guilty

There are some gargantuan scams going on in the crypto/NFT space.
Whatever that Flash thing was is just someone tumbling over an empty trashcan in a darkened alley and running away from it. It really is a non-factor, all things considered.
Korean netizens just turn to ape behavior on these things. (probably in part because of the Savior scandal), and this was just another example.
Thankfully, the vast majority of the fans are seeing through this. Flash will get scrutinized but he'll be back in full force at some point.

They pretty much compromised their integrity. This makes them scum in my eyes. Much like the footballer Ronaldo, the convicted tax evasion scammer. Yet he still has a huge fanbase. And that most repulsive rapist, Tyson the boxer, people still somehow like him. Let them. I mean, I'm allowed to fully appreciate sport skills, but I can still loathe a most disgraceful loss of human character, can't I? As for me, for people who already have a substantial income, no amount of additional money can justify the loss of integrity and the destruction of the most admirable traits in people. Maybe it is too idealistic, idk, I hope you can grasp where I come from on this matter. I can find justification for a bunch of crimes, but not for such a lowly scam.

their moral core is suspect but most people don't really care as they just want to watch games. there are also many more into the cult of personality that will handwave away any moral criticism to their favorite idols as witchhunting. i feel theres more apologism for scummy behaviour these days than any witchhunting if anything.

apparently investing in some coin if youre a famous person automatically makes you a scammer now.

At the end of the day though, nobody lost any money because of it, right? Thats what I really don't get. If people had invested because of flash/bisu/sea etc. and lost a lot of money, sure. But nobody ever did. So all thats left is them getting involved in a coin and advertising it to their viewers? Koreans be crazy honestly. Look at bisu, no stream for 6 months cause of that.
