Would Nyoken or Eonzerg be willing to cast them? I really enjoyed their casts of ASTL.

I also especially like how Eonzerg says the word "Vultures", it sounds really cool

Tastosis was the only reason why i started watching korean Starcraft tournaments from 2016 - from the first ASL it got me hooked. Personally i have not played SC multiplayer since 2010 and i never thought i would find myself interested in this game in any way (playing or watching), but it became my all time favorite game to watch.

And now this devastating news comes... I believe Artosis will still comment on the matches in his personal stream just like he does not with the caster muse in his youtube channel.

This is terrible news. I would definitely be interested in financially supporting a crowdfunding option for Tastostis to cast the tournament independently even if it's in poorer quality overcasting the korean VODs.

Yeah that is weird... I've had a couple of different youtube channels in the past and 100,000 views per videos is definitely a fair amount of ads revenue that could go on to pay the casters.

I feel sorry for the casters, the audience for whom English (or Tastosis, I guess) is a make-or-break element of StarCraft, and any future potential fans who will miss out on this great game because of the language and website barriers involved. Personally, though, this doesn't change anything for me, as I have enjoyed and preferred Korean commentary over English commentary, even though I don't understand most of it, since I started watching over a decade ago.

Thanks ASL for supporting an English speaking audience for as long as they did. Suprised it lasted so long to be honest.

Time for English speaking casters who do it for the love of BW to broadcast and come to the fore instead. Hopefully TL will find and feature every single one of them when ASL 11 starts up.

Big thank you to Tasteless and Artosis for all the ASL casting they have done. Also big thank you to Afreeca for giving us the English cast in the past.
This news is punch to the gut. The worst thing is that it seems it's not even about money/ROI but about politics

Hopefully Tastosis can figure out a way to keep casting ASL.

Really sucks. On one hand, ASL kept BW going in the post Kespa era and I'm really thankful for that. And if they want to say "we don't give a fuck about you" to the foreign fans, fine. But don't be strict about wanting an english stream of asl to be on Afreeca.

Sucks for Artosis/Tasteless especially.

Really just makes you wanna say "fuck off" to ASL.
