Yes, my body is ready! Great to see the best tour of modern BW return! Pretty cool to not have CB or FS in the main tourney, as well. Pretty interesting changes to the format, though I actually always loved the Bo1s. I guess this will bring more hype to the winner/looser/final matches.

like I said the map source is reliable but I don't know where they got it from so not 100% sure about the whole thing.
also I remember sonic doing something similar for SSL8-10 with the Bo3s

Can't wait!
Is there any word if Flash will be participating this season? Last I heard he was undecided due to his wrist issues

We should have best of two.
Example: A vs B Game 1: last in 15 minutes, A wins Game 2: last in 16 minutes, B wins -) A > B

That format change is awesome. Really takes out some of the variance out of ASL that we've had in the past. Imagine someone going into a ZvZ Bo3 after playing a ZvP or ZvT. Bo3 gives you some room for adjustment.

I’m not digging these changes. Seeing more games is nice but having these massive map pools punishes those players that would put in the time creating a couple of strategies specifically geared to their opponent in a specific maps.
Keep it nasty, brutish, and short.

Wasnt Blizzard asking for horrendous fees for those tournaments? How are they still capable to finance those tournaments?

For this season, I am actually mostly hyped about the eonzerg and Dewalt qualifier matches. It will be sooo exciting! If only they would be casted...

I think they're going for Bo3 to counteract the fact that games recently in tournaments have all been super fast. Hopefully the new maps give us some more macro games too.

The Wildcard match is currently scheduled for June 12. Not sure about the time, due to GSL Ro4 that same day.

nice, im very curious for the new maps also. too bad whiteout didnt make it though

this whole format change sounds pretty amazing and I'm all for it!
what I hate though is that Neo Sylphid is going to be played AGAIN instead of Whiteout.. god damnit, why no Whiteout? That was one of the better maps made in last couple of years, actually.. Sylphid is pretty standard and boring, tbh..
what a shame
