Alright we are back again to try and promote one of the most competitive games on Starcraft Remastered.This game is about Capturing the flag and is played 2v2 or even 3v3 competitively. Flags are 15 pts, kills are 1 pt and if you get 5 kills in a row without dying you get +5 bonus points. It has so many elements between who has the best reflexes to be able to quicklock(ql). Who has the best timing (meaning who can predict when you will meet an opponent based on how much time he has had to proceed to the flag). Who can utilize blinds and glitches of the map( blinds are the shadows you cannot see behind pillars, strips because of pillars, Glitches are pockets of shadow where you cannot see them unless coming at a different angle BUT they see you and don't lose vision at all, but blinds you do). And who can implement the locking mechanisms of DLOCK, SLOCK, Shift hack shot, and even a regular Hackshot (All of which can be further explained here ->http://s15.zetaboards.com/Sniper_League/topic/389380/1/

Are there still clans for this? Is there anyway to teach an old sniper how to play again? Or ways that I can learn to play it if I haven't?

This game was so fun back in the day and I'm sure it's even better on remastered.

There are still veteran players using the 3oD clan tag. But we have a new clan called oNE which caters to the newer players. Clan was made to teach them the fundamentals and broaden their understanding of the game. Old snipers should be able to pick it back up pretty easily and there are plenty of Snipers with different skill levels to get them back into it. Our community is willing to teach and will try our best to make it easy for all who have the time and patience.

I remember 3od clan. I checked out the discord, and I can't believe how many players are active. I saw that there is also a tournament right now. So cool! I will definitely be getting remastered to play with you guys.

Hi guys,

I've been playing SC for a while and a friend linked me this post at random. I'd seen people host "Snipers" games before but it never really crossed my mind to join one. After seeing this post I decided to play a few Snipers games for the first time today and I was blown away by how creative, intense, and competitive this game is!

The Snipers community is really welcoming, and multiple veteran snipers were giving me pointers and never lost patience with my noob actions. I'm looking forward to really getting into the game, just wish I'd discovered it sooner!

I played snipers more than a decade ago and came back on recently because of remastered. I was touched to see the community had "grown up". It used to be such a toxic environment, and I think its because we were all kids back then screwing around and pushing boundaries. But now, it's like those same kids have gotten so much life experience and are coming back and saying hi. It was nice to see and a lot of fun to witness.

The ranked matches definitely add a bit of competitive fun and a major reason I log on more frequently now.
