Hello again. I while ago I released Insurrection Remastered, a reworking of StarCraft: Insurrection I made. Now I've come with a modded version of it, adding custom unit quotes and some changes to many units' stats, between other things. Like most mods, it only works with 1.16.1, at least for now. The idea of the mod is to make the campaign more immersive and different.

Super cool dude !!! i played this several years ago but never finished it, remember that the missions where to say teh least hard, will play it again cheers !!!.

Works great! Had to do this though:

If you have SC:R installed, you need to do this to get Insurrection working:

Put Insurrection in 1.16.1 starcraft folder (and scm files somewhere in /maps)
Rename your SC:R folder to something wrong, like Starcraft_TEMP
Run Insurrection in the other 1.16.1 folder. It will ask you to locate starcraft.exe.
It will launch with the custom "insurrection" loading screen. Load up the custom UMS files from single player and have fun
When done, rename your SC:R folder back to normal or the launcher will think it's missing next time you play

So as long as Remastered is installed, it won't work. Can you code it to look in the local folder first? I have it sitting in the 1.16.1 directory but it still tries to launch the Remastered one.

That is really weird, because I actually have SCR installed and 1.16.1 (from the download I linked) in a separate folder and when I run any SEMPQs it lets me choose which program to run it with. May have to do with me using Windows 10. I don't really know how to fix it, I'll look into it though.

So in case anyone is running into the same problem as pheer, my fellow mapmaker and modder Pr0nogo made a video on how to use 1.16.1 mods, even with SCR installed.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:
The mod now includes Pr0nogo's 'Framework', which adds several minor visual improvements such as new idle animations for some units that didn't have, researching/building animations for some Zerg and Protoss buildings, etc. It will receive more updates in the future and so will this mod with it, but this is the mayor one. Also I fixed a couple mistakes and did some minor changes in the maps and the mod, as well as fixed Blizzard's own mistake of swapping the Greater Spire's and the Defiler Mound's sound effects. You can download the newest version through the same link.
