Shinee has always been a ladder warrior, he finished #1 on Fish server a few times in the past. I also think he puts a lot more time into the game than a lot of the other streamers.

Also a lot of the better players will play against other pros either for sponmatches or practice. Why would they waste their time laddering if they need to practice a certain match up for ASL and have other former expros they can spar with?
I'm not even sure how many sponmatches shinee plays anyways, but I can't imagine it being the same as, say, jaedong, Bisu, flash, effort, larva, last, Mind, by.sun, etc
