I feel that Scan deserved the $200 agreed upon prior to the training, yet chose to refund Blackdrone since he doesn't want to lose credibility or be involved in drama that hurts his image. Scan was obviously the bigger man in this topic of discussion, which is why I will continue to support his involvement in the Brood War community. Good job Scan, you handled this very well.

When you still needed to buy a copy of Starcraft 2 for each region Blizz called HSC and complained about Huk using TLOs account. Kinda ridiculous that they expected Huk to buy a copy of Starcraft 2 to compete in a tournament in Europe, but that's blizzard for ya.

WhiteRa was holding it more or less well, but than two hidden Zealots came into the main mineral line and killed like 10 probes. Both were expending, Eriador securing with cannons, WhiteRa going more for an army. But in the end Eriador pushed with a solid Zealot/Dragoon mix and WhiteRa wasnt having enough stuff. Probably bc of the 10 probes that died before and he had nearly 1k gas during defending it, while being super low on mins.

Ever since the Activision merger Blizz has become all about the money. Before they were content to dominate several video game genres, now they think of only profits.

Hoping someone active on the forums can start a thread with a regularly updated OP. An interesting observation: Most of the inactive ex-top tier 1 foreigners who came back seem to be in the 2100-2200 range. e.g iNcontroLTV 2129 Draco 2176 Liquid`Drone 2267 Legionnaire 2148 Liquid`MaNa 2213 Then there's the ones who kept playing who are 2400+ Bonyth 2401 Sziky 2466

Draco has been in the 2400-2550 range using the account Prohat for a while now and he was 2500+ at some point even few weeks ago. Incontrol never was Tier 1 imo He was pretty clear Tier 2 He was not even Top 30 in any of the years i remmeber from the Broodwar golden days of non korean starcraft 2002-2007 The interesting observation imo is , that Draco is still TOP 4 foreigner doing pretty good against Eonzerg,Trutacz,Sziky,Dewalt etc while being inactive for years and only playing like 10h a week while working full time in a normal job. Nemu is a bulgarian Zerg ? who played in TSL 2009

Don't get me wrong, I think sziky and bonyth (and trutacz and eonzerg) being 200 points ahead of me makes perfect sense, as they are all superior players. And Draco holding his own at 2500 is certainly impressive. But right now, the ratings do not accurately display how good various players are.
