Actually account sharing is a bannable offense by Blizzard last I checked they take that very serious

Based upon the evidence provided by both parties, I feel that Scan did his part in providing the training that was discussed.
I feel that Scan deserved the $200 agreed upon prior to the training, yet chose to refund Blackdrone since he doesn't want to lose credibility or be involved in drama that hurts his image. Scan was obviously the bigger man in this topic of discussion, which is why I will continue to support his involvement in the Brood War community. Good job Scan, you handled this very well.

Can confirm. When you still needed to buy a copy of Starcraft 2 for each region Blizz called HSC and complained about Huk using TLOs account. Kinda ridiculous that they expected Huk to buy a copy of Starcraft 2 to compete in a tournament in Europe, but that's blizzard for ya.

Eriador. He did a fast Zealot push. WhiteRa was holding it more or less well, but than two hidden Zealots came into the main mineral line and killed like 10 probes. Both were expending, Eriador securing with cannons, WhiteRa going more for an army. But in the end Eriador pushed with a solid Zealot/Dragoon mix and WhiteRa wasnt having enough stuff. Probably bc of the 10 probes that died before and he had nearly 1k gas during defending it, while being super low on mins.

Ever since the Activision merger Blizz has become all about the money. Before they were content to dominate several video game genres, now they think of only profits.

I'm completely outshadowed by following the trail of tears there. That, to this very day, is still the greatest game of brood war ever played.

My favourite from this one is where Boxer blinded the observers. Too bad with the all mech late game these tricks will probably never see a comeback.

Then again with the weird ghost v sair match in the most recent asl ro24 I'll beware before ever saying "never."

Any interest to start a foreigner who's who list?
Hoping someone active on the forums can start a thread with a regularly updated OP.

An interesting observation:

Most of the inactive ex-top tier 1 foreigners who came back seem to be in the 2100-2200 range.

e.g
iNcontroLTV 2129
Draco 2176
Liquid`Drone 2267
Legionnaire 2148
Liquid`MaNa 2213

Then there's the ones who kept playing who are 2400+

I don't think he's ever reached 2500.
His absolute max was 2480 or something, but then he dropped around 100 points and most of the time he is around 2350-2400
I don't believe you.

Your observation is completely flawed since most Tier 1 foreigners play on "smurfs"

That Nal_Draco Account has + 17 losses from disconnects since Draco had unstable Internet at first.
furthermore it is now only used at warm up games.

Draco has been in the 2400-2550 range using the account Prohat for a while now and he was 2500+ at some point even few weeks ago.

Incontrol never was Tier 1 imo
He was pretty clear Tier 2
He was not even Top 30 in any of the years i remmeber from the Broodwar golden days of non korean starcraft
2002-2007

The interesting observation imo is , that Draco is still TOP 4 foreigner doing pretty good against Eonzerg,Trutacz,Sziky,Dewalt etc while being inactive for years and only playing like 10h a week while working full time in a normal job.

you really can't say much from the ratings right now. There are probably like 15 wins missing for me because of players disconnecting, and another 10 games where I did some stupid allin because lag made it unplayable. I assume most players have similar experiences, and as I have only played like 60-70 games (even though it says I've played more on the ladder, this is because a lot of games randomly count twice), this becomes pretty significant. I've also randomed every game, and there are some matchups I fare pretty horribly in.

Don't get me wrong, I think sziky and bonyth (and trutacz and eonzerg) being 200 points ahead of me makes perfect sense, as they are all superior players. And Draco holding his own at 2500 is certainly impressive. But right now, the ratings do not accurately display how good various players are.
