Yea, I agree with that, but i'm not going to pretend it has nothing to do with nostalgia, it most certainly does.
I just don't want them to change the sounds, but they can easily make them better.

Not surprised that you are from the SC2 forum, where any mentioning of BW is quickly countered with "BW elitism".
Newcomers are welcome. SC2 people shitting on this community or the game or giving stupid suggestions without actually having played the game much is not. There is a difference.

Remember, SC key is basically 13 digits combination (pure digits, no letters) that achieve a specific pattern. The game is nearly 20 years and made a huge success that was not planned for at all. Isn't that possible?

No, because the digital keys are like 20 digits long and alpha-numeric.
Even if we were to entertain your idea, 10^13 is more than the world's population * 10^3. Even if only one key out of a thousand met the requirement to be a key, there would be a key for every person on the planet, which as you well know is thousands of times more people than those who have purchased BW at any time.

It is only 13 digits only in this format "xxxx - xxxxx - xxxx"
Also, it is possible that not the 13 digits together used to form the pattern but the 3 parts are used together. Example
There is a specific pattern to be met with the first 4 digits, another pattern with the 2nd part and another pattern with the 3rd part.
This could limit the number of keys to some millions.
